I’ve had to return about 5 of them for different issues, including loose triggers and stick drift. I correctly have a couple with a dodgy vibration motor.
When it works, it’s a nice controller. But it is made very poorly.
Do be aware though that games don't tend to support this (or anything else) natively since Microsoft came up with xinput over directinput in an Apple style move to ensure only their controllers are supported
I find the symmetrical placement of the 2 analog sticks more natural than the offset configuration of the Xbox controller but it's all down to muscle memory and those used to the unnatural xbox layout will tell you otherwise
The real down side of the PS5 controller is this square circle x triangle business. With ABXY or old school Logitech numbered system, you typically know where A is, and B will be next to A etc, but where the hell is triangle? I find myself looking down at the pad to locate the correct button quite frequently!
I never use vibration or any of the feedback options. I like a simple basic controller with no noise either. (edited)
my dualsense are both out of warranty, I contacted sony and they said they'd do nothing it's just ridiculous, how are we not suing them guys let's do it. fr tho not sure how they can get away with it AND not offer any kind of repair for a blatant issue they haven't fixed in two generations now.
