Love them, comfortable to wear with great noise cancelling and log battery life.
My pair went wrong after 14 months, Made a whining sound like an old hearing aid.
Amazon put me through to Soundcore.
Followed their instructions to hard reset them and unpair and repair to my phone.
Worked for a month but then the issue came back.
Soundcore got me to go through the same process, this time it would not work.
After saying that this pair were faulty they said a new pair were on the way to me.
Arrived next day. I was very pleased.
Highly recommend the headphones and Soundcore customer service and support.

I had the same experience with their customer service. I explained what the issue with my buds was (volume was really low on one) and I had a replacement pair delivered next day.

If you’re autistic or have sensory issues, these are an affordable game changer. No need to break the bank on Bose, etc.

This is the comment I was hoping to find. Thank you! Going on holiday tomorrow and needed some good noise cancelling headphones for my daughter who has autism.

Anyone who is bothered by noise, these are really good. I have noisy neighbours and these have helped me when I want to relax, concentrate or meditate. They're not perfect, but they will block out most of the noise (don't forget to select the right noise cancelling filter) and with music they block just about everything. I can't even hear their dog barking with these.
They are comfy (once I started adjusting then with the band) and last ages on a charge. They connect very easily to my phone and TV. I've had six hour gaming sessions with them with no problems. Sound quality is very good to my ears.
Range is also very good and I can wander around my house without losing connectivity (even into the garden). They'd be perfect if they had a mute button for the mic. Noise cancelling is not 100%, but for the money is fantastic for someone who has far too sensitive hearing, they're little oasis of peace and quiet.

I have had two pairs do this, but fixed with tape and cable ties. Not pretty, but does hold it together.

These are good and comfy, and have decent active cancellation (and passive isolation). Sound quality is good for the price, and the battery lasts a long time so they're good for longhaul. If you're moving from earbuds, they are obviously quite big and heavy, although I have nothing similar to compare them to.

HOWEVER my ear cups became flaky after 14 months, but I can confirm that Soundcore support are decent. (Exact same thing happened with my AKG K450, and AKG didn't want to know). (edited)

AKG didn't want to know as they're now owned by Samsung, who are famous for not giving a stuff about:

    a) Customer support
    b) Any sort of software development

Thinking of grabbing some for my kids for flights... Youngest is an 8 year old - what do owners think regarding sizing? Would these fit? (edited)

Too big for an 8-year-old. I have some and these are too big for my 13-year-old son, as they just fall off when he moves.

Just incase it helps, i have these for 2 years, eventually the cup pads started to split and wear. I got these of ebay and they are almost identical if not the same manufacturer.

Bought these last April for a 10hr flight and absolutely loved them then, and still do now. A lovely piece of kit that's comfortable and sounds great, esp the noise canceling feature.

Please can you help confirm if NC only works for own media and won't when plugged in to the plane's own entertainment via the 3.5mm port?

I heard you need QC45 to do this, thanks

These are brilliant bits of kit but terrible build quality - mine are 2yrs old and held together by tape and cable ties. Excellent customer service, though.

What in the world have you done to them? I've had mine 15 months. I wear them daily in general life, fold them and throw them in my bag, in a coat or hoodie pocket, frequently throw them onto my bed when I get home. At the gym I throw them into my bag, all over the floor, they've fell off a few times, and I've dropped them from a height before after hanging them up. 0 damage to mine.

I bought these for my daughter, I am generally a fan of Anker these are not their best product probably worth £50 but not much more, I suppose rather unfairly I was comparing them to my old soundlinks and my newer QC35's so for a cheap set they are OK but they dont come close to the more expensive options

The main reason I bought these, was their 5 minute charge for 1 and 1/2 hours more listening feature. I am prone to forgetting to charge when they get low, so this feature helps me out from not being able to use them from time to time,

Be wary the the headband isn't very strong so they aren't the best for working out in. I find when lying down for something like a bench press theyre pretty much falling off and end up putting the band across my forehead.

These headphones deliver good sound quality for music but also serve as a reliable headset with a microphone for meetings, especially when working from home.

I really like these headphones and have been using them for years but I would've expected them to be much cheaper by now or for Anker to have made upgrades in this price range. I paid £55.99 for them at launch in October 2020.

Are this around the ears headphones or they squeeze your ears headphones ? For me the only cancelling one are the one that don't touch the ears at all.

I have the Q20’s.. got them for a ridiculously good price (£38) a couple of years ago. I can’t claim to be an audiophile but have a few decent pairs of wired headphones and honestly the Q20’s are spectacular. Noise cancellation is excellent in environments like an office (conversation is basically completely eliminated) and the sound quality is excellent.. like surprisingly so. Battery seems to last an eternity.. I would guess at least 18-20 hours of playback.

If the Q30’s are an improvement over then absolutely grab a pair of you are in the market.

Make sure you download the app, go in and change the equaliser from the default to literally anything else, otherwise it sounds muddy and horrible. You'll thank me

What's the mic quality like? Does it only pick up your voice or background noise? I feel the latter because there's no boom...?

I'm still using the older Q20 when I drive on motorways. I just use the noise cancelling, no music.

Bought these however dissapointed to read on the box that noise cancelling is via the app. Call me old skool but i like hardware to work in its own right and not be dependant on a) having a phone b) having an app c) the app still being availbale d) not having to give my details to anker via the app just so I can listen to headphones.

Q - are the headphones and noise cancelling useable and useful without installing the app? (edited)
    driver8's avatar
    driver8
Yes, these headphones work perfectly well in all functions, without using the app.
