Disney when I used the code confirmed that after the period I would have to pay the either annual or monthly subscription key so I've put in my calendar a reminder to cancel it.
Yes I had already a lapsed account due to the recent 30%+ price hike Disney had put on, so I'm glad this came along, thanks Samsung.
Edit: this is what I did. They sent me an email in which it states, "YOUR DISNEY+ SUBSCRIPTION HAS BEEN CANCELLED
We’re sorry to see you go. Your access to Disney+ will end on 03 June 2023, but you can decide to resume your subscription at any time before this date." (edited)
It then told me that this code was for new subscriptions only (Dogh!). I just went onto live chat and explained what had happened they asked for the code and checked it. Disney + support refunded my £7.99 to PayPal and sent me the link to redeem the code again. This time it worked and the £1 charge to PayPal that comes through after is just a verification and will not be debited.

In the T&Cs it then says "The price of the Service purchased is 1.49 Euro+ Service fee and taxes for the first month. After the first month the price is 2.49 Euro + Service fee and taxes, as a payment in 1 month Billing Period. The Buyer may choose the length of the Billing Period."
For those who got the slightly higher price (£30+ ish), I'd double-check whether you inadvertently signed up to this and get on and cancel ASAP if you need to.

Cancelled the subscription so it doesn't auto renew as a monthly subscription as has been stated, it still lets you use the 'year trial' this purchase gives you. Cheers OP

There is a mandatory, unavoidable service fee added when checking out. This is not the Smart fee which can be unselected. The actual price is £29.74.

Would it make sense to buy now and activate it then? I dont want an issue come ending of July.
Came out at £29.74 for me, used the code and declined CPP and SMART but had a £1.53 extra charge on PayPal... all good though still a fantastic deal. Code came through in about 10 minutes and activated fine on a previous account, was a Samsunbg code.
Signed out, opened an incognito browser, punched in the code, double checked, still getting the error code.
Any ideas?
