sorted byI'm hoping it's not too obviously a woman's fitting jacket as I've ordered one for myself and I'm male. Interested to see how goose down performs, it's meant to be very warm but not great in the wet and being in Scotland I've always gone for synthetic.
Once this happens, it loses a large amount of its thermal properties. And it’s a pain to loft it back up.
My usual combo is to pair a tighter fitting micro down jacket with a waterproof shell. The bigger down jackets only come out if I know it won’t be raining. (edited)
