FIRM & MELLOW

Harvested at their peak for the fullest natural flavour

Pack size: 500G

Storage
Store in cool, dry place. Once opened, reseal using the tape provided.

Cooking Instructions
Hob

Instructions: Soak 100g chickpeas in 500ml cold water for 8-12 hours or overnight.

Drain and rinse thoroughly.

Place the soaked chickpeas into a large saucepan with 500ml of water.

Place the pan on the medium hob ring over a high heat.

Bring to the boil and boil for 10 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 85 minutes, until the chickpeas have softened but are slightly firm to the bite.

Drain thoroughly, rinse and use as required.

Time: 1 hour 35 minutes

So versatile for a store cupboard product.

    That might be store specific as it is not showing for me on either the site or app. But Indus chick peas at £2 per kg are there.
    Or better still, for all items like that, support your local Asian shop. The proper ones, not the corner variety

    Tesco are scam artists, they've put all there pulses up and they keep putting them up by 10p each time, a lot have gone to £1.90 this week, they they put a sign outside the shop saying they are 'driving prices down' and a club card offer that puts it back at the price it was for a few weeks.

    Chick peas are £2.29 for 1 kg at Grape Tree, and that's before you apply one of their regular discount codes.
