sorted byIt's a fun game though if you enjoy a grind or simply doing some mindless roadtripping (although the first game is better suited for that second playstyle).
It's worth noting that most of the vehicles and cosmetics you unlock in this game transfer over to the new game set in Hawaii releasing in September and is not a one time transfer, so you can keep going back to The Crew 2 to unlock more stuff for Motorfest (even if you play that game before touching TC2).
Where this game truly shines though is the Summit. Anyone calling this a "terrible game" clearly didn't reach the rank of Icon to unlock the portion of the game that really sucks you in. The Summit is a weekly competition of events (a bit like the Festival Playlist in Horizon), but unlike Forza your performance matters and rather than a mindless checklist of participation trophies, you compete to be in the top 4,000 players that week to unlock exclusive rewards that money can't buy.
