Same, got a 3080 so 4090 is the only upgrade that makes sense, but it's too old to justify dropping that amount.

Great spec, competitive pricing on pre-builts these days vs build your own. Heat

Not for me, but great value. Keep up the great work. It’s really helpful that you have different posts for the various price points

able to run ROMS? Not sure if it will cope with Final Fight or Simpsons Arcade

Nah, no chance they will play on this system perhaps pong is the limit.

Any idea if the PSU is any good?
    JackBauer123's avatar
It's excellent. The PSU itself uses high quality Japanese capacitors. The only issue is it isn't I believe ATX 3.0 which may bug some but more importantly could be an issue with a 4090 specifically as an adapter would need to be used. Happy to be corrected on this by OP. (edited)

That is a prime candidate for the gold plated water block I saw on youtube last night

Not sure why expired, just ordered. Was budgeting for£3600 but got it for £2999, so thanks. Need to bump up the RAM to 128GB with another £159 to max but was going to anyway.  Edit i see the spec are different for the original deal.. (edited)

They changed the original, I reposted it under the new theme, as it could change people's thoughts.

Some people love the Hyte, some don't.

I’m looking to get a gaming PC. Max budget £3,300 - primary use would be single player games on an Alienware 4k monitor, but secondary use would be to have my Quest 3 connect to it for VR.

    Any recommendations?

I would love a 4090 build, but may consider a 4080 with the goal of upgrading to a 50xx card once they’re out. Thank you

If you are spending £3300 you can just buy the best of everything.
