This cpu would you say its still a good gaming cpu?. For newer games aswell.

Depends on what GPU you're pairing it with really and if you already have the AM4 platform and using this as a drop in upgrade.

Your best bet would be a 5800x3D to get the longest life out of your AM4 platform.

If you're building from scratch then nah, just take the leap into an AM5 build. More drop in upgrades in future. (edited)

Gone up €6 since last week, or whenever I was going to post but tbh it isn't worth it with a 7600 being so close to this price, as OEM, and it's a hardsell for an AM4 upgrade with t 5600X being so cheap, it's in no mans land almost.

    5600x isn't even close to a 5700x.

Guys. I am thinking of building a PC in July/August time. Is this a good deal or wait till later as often price decrease?

My build price is around £6-700 for the pc only.

You don't want to be looking at this CPU for a new build. It uses the older AM4 platform. You want to be looking at an AM5 system if your building new.

Am5 is looking a tad bit expensive. I have a budget of £600...any reccomendations?
