About this deal

Great price for steelbook collectors!

In The Matrix Resurrections, return to a world where there are two realities: everyday life and what lies behind it. To find out if his reality is true or just imagination and to really know himself, Thomas Anderson will have to choose to follow the White Rabbit once again. He has learned something, it is that choosing, although it is an illusion, is still the only way out, or in, for the Matrix. Of course, Neo already knows what he has to do, but what he doesn't know yet is that The Matrix is stronger, safer, and more dangerous than ever. Déjà vu.

Up there as one of the worst films ever made, almost like wonder woman 1984 dared studios to 'top that'

Yes, it's ridiculously bad. Although they have form with these films. The only good Matrix film is the first one. I watched the second one in the cinema in 2003 and it was absolutely dreadful. I was excited to see it as I'd missed seeing The original Matrix in the cinema. (edited)

Either that or paint the disc white, buy a 'make your own clock' set, stick the numbers on the disc and make your own clock.

Poundland would struggle to sell these

But, to be fair, they wouldn't be a pound these days.

I thought it was OK BTW

Is it that bad of a film?

Available on netflix. Watched it the other night - what a weak excuse for a film.

Got any ideas for the next bit of the story? Just re-use a clip from the earlier films. over and over.

I recently discovered a theory that suggests it was bad on purpose and they tell you why in the "meta" script:

Smith: Now what? Things have changed. The market’s tough.

I’m sure you can understand why our beloved parent company, Warner Bros., has decided to make a sequel to the trilogy.

    Thomas: What?

Smith: They informed me they’re gonna do it with or without us.

Thomas: I thought they couldn’t do that.

Smith: Oh, they can. And they made it clear they’ll kill our contract if we don’t cooperate.

    --------------
Although Wachowski hasn't mentioned this to my knowledge, only citing the passing of his/her parents as reason for reviving the franchise.
    A sad result either way.

Hands down one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Not even exaggerating here.
