4 for £10 in Morrisons. I’ve used loads of these and have never found stones!

I would try Morrisons but they do not deliver.

Previous price was 3 for £10.
Large handful of stones in each bag.
Keep delivery under about 24 bags to avoid £30 large delivery charge.

Terrible stuff, got a bag at the weekend and it was like builders sand. Better off with their supra organic compose, 50ltrs at 3 for 12 quid so £4 a bag, but be warned it smells really strong so car boots be warned.

This soil needs to be sieved before using it on lawns - some bags have small stones that are no good for lawns.

If you’ve got the time, it’s a cheaper option that buying 4mm screened soil.

I purchased 6 bags about 2 weeks ago at this price. It's very sandy with little soil content.

Had 100bags but all out of stock locally to me now! Nice stuff. Using it for base under new turf (edited)

It said OOS at my local but I didn’t trust it so I went in and there was a pallet full

first line in the post makes it sound like you use this to bury bodies

I've used quite a few of these, great when mixed with my existing clay soil, the sand makes it less clumpy, added in some compost to fill 4 new raised beds. Already harvesting salad crops

I had this last year, full of stones and bits of stick and plastic, rubbish for lawns without sieving as others have said.

I swear this stuff was better last year! Top dressing with this this year has been pretty rubbish

I got a few bags a couple of weeks back, must have been lucky as there were no stones/ sticks / sand. Seemed ok to me.

Put down 88 bags this weekend. All of them absolutely fine. Recommended.

Surely a dumpy bag would have been cheaper?

No stones or sticks in all the ones I've bought over the last few weeks.
