    I absolutely hated the 1980s apart from Computing which was the golden era of computing and was exceptional. Worst period for popular music was the 1980s.

    So I wouldn't choose to listen to T'Pau, their name derives from a Vulcan elder from Star Trek though, so that's maybe cool or maybe not >

    I would listen to The King of Rock N Roll by Prefab Sprout though which is bizarrely brilliant. The good thing about T'Pau is they aren't anywhere near as awful as Hue and Cry and Deacon Blue so be grateful for small mercies.

    You miserable sod, the 80’s was great music a lot better than the rubbish nowadays, at least they had fun and character in the 80’s and didn’t take themselves seriously.
