How to get the best performance of all charging ports?

Why is it that none of these are properly earthed? Only Apple bother to earth them and require their devices to be..... But still, stop with plastic fake earths!

    Complete twaddle
(and I can see you spout the same on other power supply/charger deal)

Class II insulated electric devices are fine with "plastic" earths.
There is no such thing as a plastic earth, the purpose of the pin in this instance on a UK plug is as an insulated shutter opening device, as already stated by hamsterboy, to open the shutters on the socket and allow the L/N pins to be inserted.
Class II is double insulated and does not need an earth, they are safe by design and if CE marked (or UKCA for us post Brexit) then assessed for this by a competent body.

What you are referring to on other posts is "touch current", the tingling sensation when touching the metal parts of a device that is connected to a Class II device, such as this power supply.
This is not dangerous, it is covered by UL/IEC safety standards.
    This explains it

Please stop posting about "plastic fake earths" it may cause people to be unnessarily concerned.

Would this charge Steam Deck ?
    ArchBants's avatar
Yes. This question always gets asked in these charger threads. Anything that'll supply 65w will charge the steam deck

Are these USB-PD compatible? For pixel 7?

I was thinking the same thing and did a quick search. The same thing appears to be slightly cheaper here and specifically says it is PD compatible mymemory.co.uk/ugr…ml?

I've got this Toocki 67W GaN charger (that has been excellent so far), which is currently ~ £17.50 with 15 day delivery.

Can I use this to charge all my gadgets and not blow them up? Currently my phone, tablet, medical vape(5v 1A) and a few other things are usb but I don't want to risk blowing any of them up
    JoelHUK's avatar
Devices draw current from the power supply. The power supply doesn't blow them up.
