Theses always fall down when it comes to a mac. Can't do three screens extended. Got a HP G2 dock from CEX for 50 quid and can do three screens on MacBook pro extended mode.

That’s not the adapters fault, it’s because Apple refuse to support Multi Stream Transport in the way that allows it to work. You need a Thunderbolt dock as far as I was aware to do that.

I'm assuming it will work fine, but has anyone any experience of using it with a Dell laptop?

Does anyone know of one of these with 2 x USB c for data, they all have the PD one, and some have 1 x USB C but I really need one with two.

I tried one of their similar products and it wasn't great, one screen would work and then both and then neither, it was pretty hit and miss. That was on a dell laptop.

Anyone find anything similar with Gigabit ethernet? Maybe also SD card slot? I got a cheap thing from Amazon which works fine for power and video, but didn't realise the ethernet is only 100mbit/sec also the thing runs quite hot and doesn't feel like it should be left connected 24/7!

Just buy a usb ethernet adaptor and plug it into one of the usb ports. Personally I've moved away from these cheap adaptors though because as you say they run hot. I use a targus dock which I picked up on marketplace, businesses are often getting rid of these sort of things and the proper docks seem much better. For me the main advantage was the cable length, the dock is hidden under the desk with just 1 cable to the laptop.

if it's back at full price I would recommend this instead
Docking Station Dual HDMI, 12 IN 1 USB C Docking Station Dual Monitor, Single 8K@30Hz Triple 4K Laptop Docking Station with DisplayPort, Ethernet, PD 100W, 4 USB, SD/TF for Macbook,Dell,HP

more flexible in my opinion, with more connection options and triple display
you need a usb c thunderbolt capable machine
have tested on a windows and linux latop - works fine on both
haven't tested on a Mac (I hate iCrap,) I suspect you would need to tincker with drivers, make sure the door to the fridge is open and the rooster sings 3 times - for it to handle 2-3 displays (edited)
