Nowadays a shaven head is normal. DM managed to change their image, that a few years ago even school girls were wearing these to school as a fashion statement.
Non name brands offer similar but cheaper.

It might simply be the passage of time but I now have the opinion they are simply an overpriced, low grade product.
I do still have a pair of DM shoes purchased around 20 years ago for CAN$20 that get dusted off now and again and worn for very short durations.
