Be careful with Next. We returned something which they deemed to have marks on it. They charged us a £35 investigation fee as well as sent the item back to us without a refund.

kids shoes that cost £12. Absolute joke given they don’t do in store returns (you drop it off in the collection bin)

Never had issues before. Concerned they’ve changed their approach and are looking to make money out of people  (edited)

Never had issues with next returns. I have returned lots of items over the years. They are one of the best for returns, and they offer free in-store returns. I returned something last week to in-store and got my money back the next day. (edited)

Seems to be mostly rubbish that they can’t sell, then you scroll for 2 hours, put items in basket go to check out and basket is empty!! I gave up

You Need to Checkout after 1 or 2 items as I was having this issue. It can be in several baskets at the same time. Very frustrating.

Thank you. Does anyone know if Next offered vip sale slots for the spring 24 sale please? I normally get an email invite but didn’t receive anything this year.

Apparenty the vip slots are issued randomly now we won’t get invited to every single one going forward

Why does it take two weeks to receive your order?! Picked one pair of pj bottoms and they won’t be delivered until 29th March.

They operate a system that oversells a percentage of their stock.  I.e if they have 10 units of an item left they might sell it 14 times.  Based on a return rate of 40%.  They know therefore it will take time to get one back to then send to you.

I hate the Outlet bit of their website so much - only one image of the thing and no information about washing instructions. Shame, as there were a couple of things I might've been interested in, but I can't be bothered with the faff of returning. Especially with the stories on here about potential £35 fees!

If you type in the Product Number, eg the funnel neck jacket above D75-429 into the search bar usually more product info usually comes up

To be honest i found the selection better in the main shops this morning rather than online. Not too happy that the return fo full refund is only 7 days now and after that its a gift card.

I think the 7 day refund policy is only for sale items. This has been like this for a long time. For items that are not in sale can still be returned within 28 days as per usual returns policy.

To be fair, I spoke to customer services rather than the department that charged me. They were much better and refunded the charge. To be fair, will treat it as a one off and continue shipping with them
