These are made of cheap wood and only last a few seasons then fall apart.

True. All the oiling, wood presever etc in the world struggles to make these things last very long. Not a good purchase for the environment.

These have dropped to £45 in the past, keep an eye on the spring sales

Lots of negative feedback on the quality (missing parts, damaged panels, split wood, etc) of these was removed from the Aldi website citing breaches in review publication policy, so I wouldn't trust the reviews on the Aldi website.

Maybe Wilko have a better supplier but if you do buy one check it straight away so you can take it back for an exchange / refund if there's an issue. As others have said, don't expect it to last more than a few seasons.

We managed to get 2 of these from Wilko, already have built up 1 of them and will do the other later in the year.
The one we built up seems fine, without any missing parts or noticeable defects etc.
However, it's recommended that a 1.5mm (1/16 in) drill be used to make pilot holes for the screws, it helps with screw alignment and also the ease of screwing the screws into the wood. Aside from that it went together very well.
