The pro controller and joy cons are both wireless though

The mini classic consoles are classic Nintendo "it must be exactly how it was when they first launched".

The Smash GC controllers are wired for less input latency and fighting tournaments are known to ban wireless controllers.

    Did I miss any others?

What is it with Nintendo and fixation for wired controllers. It's like going back in time

I'm so glad it's not just me. I had the same conversation recently. While some of the designs are nice it's a backwards step and very unlike Nintendo...? That's not to say there isn't a market for them it just shouldn't be the norm.

I did not say they all were.

is saying the only official Switch controllers are Joy-Con and the Pro Controller, which are both wireless. All these wired ones are 3rd Party accessories.

I’ve seen the zelda one before and now somehow I want it when I didn’t before. Shame I already have two pro controllers which means I can’t justify getting another controller

Looks nice, but (being Chrome Edition) could get a bit slippy with sweaty palms

These would be good if they had the functionality of a pro, just wired.. But they have no motion, no vibration and no amiibo.. I know these things add cost but it renders them useless on games that force motion as a feature (like Mario odyssey where you don't need motion but you lose abilities) and makes it awkward for games where you will be scanning amiibo daily (like zelda botw) once I realised this I traded my black zelda controller in for a pro. Which is a shame because these designs are so nice

Do Nintendo actually have their own factories? Surely they offload manufacturing to Foxconn or similar as most major electronics manufacturers do.

So the only significant difference will be not designed by Nintendo, assuming Nintendo do design in-house.

Someone made a controller who are not nintendo,
they went to nintendo and said we have made a controller which works on switch.
Nintendo said that's great, we will license it, if you pay us some money for everyone you sell (edited)

I think given that it says that on a new line its probably something separate. It says the cable is included in the main description also
