Cheapish/bargain new electric scooter, and from a reputable seller (Amazon.it). Not going to get into the legalities etc, buy it if you want one, use it within the law of the land you live in.
I've included the shipping in the total cost as it is about £20 and is unavoidable, you can get the price down buy paying in Euro's but it's not much only about £7-10.

I've not used a 4 or 4 Pro but heard good things about them, especially with the increased incline capabilities, any info welcomed from real users experiences before mine arrives.

These are great and should be legalised. Far safer than the illegal deliveroo bikes going around 40mph.

I see folk trundling along on these constantly. How sad we've become so lazy as a species we can't even walk any more.

I actually both agree and disagree, my main place of work recently moved and I used to walk almost every day as it was only 3.1 miles each way, which I could easily walk in less than an hour, and it was a pleasant walk through woodlands and fields, and up one side road. The new place is 5.5 miles making it around 1 hour 30 mins, which is just a bit too far for me, I cycle most days as I don't want to use a car, but some people don't like bikes and they are far more expensive and cumbersome that these scooters, for last mile journeys and commuting they are a great solution, the lazy ones are the ones who use their car to go to the local shop for some milk etc.

Personal transport is also needed due to the pathetic public transport on offer for a lot of people and it only seems to get worse, which is sad and annoying. (edited)

These are the MG of electric scooters. Cheap, unreliable, no resale value and can be dangerous!

Egret or E-TWOW are much better & safer (edited)

MG 4 voted best car of the year, MG5 is so reliable & cheap to run it’s used by thousands of mini-cab drivers & has a great safety record & on par resale value with other vehicles. Check out EV myth busters on faircharge of fully charged show . (edited)

Please be careful when charging electric scooters, quite a few have caught on fire

This is true but mainly if people have used inappropriate 3rd party chargers and batteries that didn't come with the e-scooter/bike.
Or if they purchased or imported cheap products that don't meet current UK standards.
    From what I understand

What's the return shipping like on an item such as this if there are any issues?

With this being from Italy; likely come with a European plug for charging; other than a euro to up converter, is it just a figure 8 connector into the charging brick with a uk plug to make it have a normal uk plug ? (edited)

What annoys me is yet again we get ripped off in this country with a product that’s considerably cheaper buying from abroad!!!!

I saw a young chap on one of those the other day as he was weaving in and out stuck traffic without a care in the world, then he disappeared down a pothole on the road, emerged looking pale and then had to carry his bent scooter home limping and not looking best pleased. (edited)

Just keep the fools off the pavements riding them
    Rob_Samsung's avatar
If vehicles don't park on pavements maybe room for these as well as pedestrians

Length increased by 64cm?? Footrest width by 15?
  13. A.R's avatar
Apparently these are limited to 20kph and this version cannot be hacked yet (edited)
    KongDonkey's avatar
I think 20kmph is more than enough. The one I saw racing along the pavement in my local high street the other day was doing about 25 mph and nearly knocked a few people over. With his headphones on the young rider with his hood up didn't hear pedestrians shouting at him either.

Will be having ten of these. Cheaper to stick these on to charge than use central heating with the current gas prices.
