Sitting here staring at the box with the seal still intact torn between opening and replacing the note 10 or hopium for some random epic deal for another phone I got my 👁️👁️ on. The absolute joy of being indecisive 😞

About this deal
I've not purchased it, but it could be the replacement for my F3 (cracked screen). I have no other reason to upgrade except, it's newer and shinier.

sorted by- First off, staying on topic - HOT!
I have been looking for weeks, I too come from the Redmi Note 10 Pro! Here's where I'm at.
I was waiting for the Motorola Edge 50 Pro but the UK prices are nothing like those in India where I saw the reviews, even the percentage of price difference between phones in India is different compared to over here, which renders most of their conclusions not applicable, over here, if bang for your buck matters.
The Edge 50 Pro should be available on Amazon in Europe and hopefully the UK this coming Tuesday but at 699 Euros. Maybe that's still a good price for what's on offer but... it's not my price.
Also of interest to me was the Realme 12 Pro+, which has fantastic photo quality, as in, on top of decent hardware, no excessively exegeted contrast and overly saturated colours. It's funny the things that get me excited that are apparently a turn off for others! The reviewers even said you'd have to add that in post for social media! Not me. But it's let down by poor video quality, really good price, though, for what it offers. Though I'm vegan, I'm not sure about the 'vegan leather' backing, though; surely you want to keep a phone cool, not wrap the back in what presumably would be an insulator, in addition to whatever protective case you put it in?!
At the £300+ price point, there's the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ which, if only at the price, is pretty good, though very much not great wide angle camera, but because it doesn't use a Qualcomm chip, it's not directly Gcam (Google Camera) compatible, so no opportunity to tweak the generally fairly meh-average photo quality. 4K video is good, though less so in dimly lit areas where focus, as far as I could see, appears to struggle; it was the focusing that I noticed, not so much the grain mentioned.
The non plus version Redmi Note 13 Pro does use a Qualcomm chip, and though a lesser performer interestingly seems to stutter less in video editing on the phone compared to the Plus version, but I can't find any Gcam reviews to see if it can be forced to film at 4K 60fps!
Speaking of which, the Poco F5 has pretty average photo quality, as far as I can see, but because it uses a Qualcomm chip, you can run Gcam and apparently get smooth 4K 60fps, though photography wise it makes some photographs significantly better, some worse, which is pretty typical for Gcam.
If videography matters to you more than stills, as it does to me, and you want a pretty decent quality of hardware for the price, I think the F5 Pro is a lot of phone for the money.
If, on the other hand, you're torn and very interest in phones coming later this year/early next year, and you wanted a stopgap phone that doesn't break the bank as much as some, I think the currently £225 Redmi Note 13 Pro with Gcam is perhaps the way to go, though the F5 Pro is better is most quality of life areas, well worth the extra money, in my opinion, not to mention the additional memory and storage. Though unlike the 13 Pro, it doesn't have a headphone jack!
Another option, I was considering, was the Pixel 7 Pro. The benchmarks are poor, it apparently runs hot and there are apparently reliability concerns but the 4K 60fps video quality when using the Motioncam is pretty extraordinary, hard to believe it's from a phone, if you can put up with the huge file sizes. I'm vexed whether I can live without the zoom and go for the £540 Pixel 8, instead, to take advantage of those years of OS and security updates and all those AI smarts, though we're, what, a month away from the Pixel 8a?! Considering that some of the photographs, to my eye, look better with the 7a than they do on the 7, I'm intrigued to see how the 8a performs. But that would mean waiting.
The Honor 90 seems great for the money, especially if you're a vlogger, 4K 30, no 4K 60, but the photographs are overly contrasty, to my eye; pics look almost Gothically grim in low light, like something out of a Hammer Horror movie!
If I could find it for a good price, I would probably go for the Samsung S23. That one found its way to the top of my shortlist. Though I'm not crazy about small phones, it seems like a good compromise in so many areas and the footage, to me, looked a little better than the Pixel 7 Pro.
This is a very long winded way of saying... I feel your pain and anyone else out there really, really not wanting to spend flagship money that they don't have or shouldn't be spending!
Getting back on topic! If you're a gamer, the Poco X6 Pro (terrible jello wobble on 4K video) makes more sense but otherwise, the F5 Pro seems like a really good deal, to me, at the price. - This or Redmi Note 13 Pro?This seems much the better phone m.gsmarena.com/com…581 in many ways.
Cameras seem equal for stills, but 8K video on this.
This also has double the chip power (AnTuTu), wireless charging, faster storage, hardware proximity sensor, WiFi 6 & higher density (ppi) screen. - I want to get this, does it have hyperOS, which I do not want as the Poco X6 Pro I recently bought stays on 5G and effectively the phone is useless and does not switch to 4G when there is no 5G signal.
If not any tips on how not to upgrade to HyperOS, thanks?I just received my F5 pro just 1 hour ago it's on miui 14 but there's an immediate update available to hyper OS, obviously you don't have to update if you don't want to (edited) - How do you get 50£ coupon I have 20£The code is DEALMOON.
Takes it to £279, I just bought it - Does this do E-sim?
I don't think it does, only thing stopping from upgrading from my F3eSIM yes - Does this come with the fast 67w charger?Yes comes with 67W charger
- DEALMOON25 gets you an extra £5 off, so £304Wish I'd known that when ordering yesterday for £309, but thanks for sharing all the same. Hopefully it helps someone.
- Does it have a SD card slot please? No.
- Has anyone else noticed the delivery address is backwards in the email for the order confirmation?Yes. Mine was also backwards when I ordered it recently and even on delivery from DPD. Still arrived but great point (edited)
- Noy getting the extra £50. Dealmoon out of stockSame for me the code is out of stock
- Is this better than than x6 pro for same price amazon? Not arsed about camera. Screen and battery more important. ThxAtutu shows that poco x6 pro 8gb is higher in the benchmark, so 12gb x6 pro must be killing f5 pro
- The code to make this deal £279 is DEALMOON guys.
Brilliant price for the F5 pro so I bought it.Much appreciated for the clarification. - Anyone else getting PTSD?Yes!!!
- Cold, they wasted our time on coupons.
- To buy or not to buy?How many points you got so it gave you so much ? Is 100 mi points = 1£ ?
- Thanks OP.!The voucher had expired but even at £309 it's a decent saving, so I pulled the trigger on this to replace my F3 and it's ageing battery. Just a shame the black model is OOS.
- So, just bought one, couldn't find anything I liked for a similar price and one that would easily beat my current Poco F3, and from the customer reviews on their site, a few mentioned it was a good upgrade from their F3, so here's hoping!
- That's a brilliant price. I'd have bought this over my F5 (non-pro) if this'd been available.... and I love my non pro.
- Better than some of the new pixels. pixel 7 pro or 8? (edited)
- it shows me £279Did you buy £50 coupon?
- I've had this since release last year & on the whole it's a decent phone. Photos are ok, but the usual Xiaomi issues with them not being full quality when zoomed in.
I paid £474 for 12GB, 256GB (edited) - Is this a flat screen or curved? Its got a puff the magic dragon processor which i like, I saw a similar one on the voucher codes deal, oh yeah it was the redmi note pro+. Is this better than that?
I still get the feeling these phones are £80 more than I was wanting to pay and what's the camera like? It's like a game, do u want a camera or a big ram? If you want both it will cost double. - OK I've finally bitten, this is after the disappointment of the £249 "deal" (suspect there could still be some deals on this as we approach the F6 launch).
Can anyone recommend a good case for this as Spigen my normal go to doesn't appear to do one for this/ (edited) - Ordered to replace the note 10 pro due to end of life(or whatever it's called) was after the 13T pro but all the rigmarole happened and 🤷🏽♂️. thanks for posting.
- Great price. Thanks Op. Heated and Ordered.
- How much does the auto discount get me off the car 😏

- How is this compared to the 13T Pro?13T Pro better in every way except no wireless charging m.gsmarena.com/com…388
- Not here (edited)
- If you can wait, the F6 should be launched soon, which means that the F5 should get even cheaper as Xiaomi shift remaining stockYep. F6 is imminent.
Rumoured to have 8 Gen 3.
The F5's have further to fall yet. - DEALMOON25 - 'Coupon is out of stock'
Hold off. This will drop further in price in coming weeks and months.
