Word of warning though, you'll need to pay for office 365 subscription of you want those programs (it's free on phones, but not tablets). Luckily, the organisation I work for pays for everyone to have 365 subscription.
All in all its a great tablet with an insane battery life, processing power and screen for the money. Just make sure it has the features you need so it's right for you.
The S8 has a TFT screen and video recording at 30fps. No thanks.

I just purchased a Samsung S8 due to the faster CPU and DeX mode. They also include a stylus which comes in handy to students. I think the S8 Tab is a great tablet for the money that will last you at least 4 years.
Sorry must have read a dodgy website spec sheet. Although still, TFT screen is not for me.
Where?
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro is the one if you require those features.
I don't believe this model has been released outside Asia yet. (If you want one many places do sell it for import)
Price wise £286.36 not bad what else can you get for that price nothing.
That was certainly a decent deal. However, for those not too interested in the stylus, this is probably just as good a deal for a very strong Android tablet.
Which is £286 lol

Yep (edited)
This is deal link. Not quite the same price and you need to trade in any old Android tablet.
Why?
Whilst I agree I wouldn't use it. You don't need internet for the actual navigation. There are many apps that are either entirely offline, or let you download areas/routes in advance.
I often use predownloaded gpx hiking/mountain biking routes in places with no / terrible signal on my phone
I am certain it's an IPS.
Samsung use the term, TFT to describe the screen because IPS is a trademark of LG, and they're rivals.
How did they fit 11" into 10 cm? It must be a fold tab! Bargain for £290... HOT!
Nope.
Link?
Didn't Realme already launch one a month after this? And from all accounts it wasn't very good.

The OPPO pad is well behind the equivalent MI Pad 5 Pro version?

We're all students of life but not all of us can take advantage of those offers
Then you need to learn how
I'm curious about GPS on a tablet, unless you have a SIM and data contract to allow navigation away from WiFi, what's the use?
Why do you need GPS on a tablet?
