This or Nokia T21? Specs wise this seems better but really like the design and pixel experience UI on Nokia.....🙍

The T21 is so dated compared to this.
Why are they still using eMMC for storage? Ufs is current.
G99 Soc is so much faster than T612, better battery life and 6 nm versus 12 nm.
Xiaomi has 90hz and 1 billion colour display and it's brighter, and better quad speakers for watching content.

I kept this tablet from the promotion for the early bird 12T Pro deal late last year. I always thought it was realistically about a £200 product. But regardless, it's a nice little tablet for media consumption, had no issues with it. Love the green colour too.

I assume several of us got into that deal, but possibly many (like myself) just in it for the phone (it turned out to be great(, so they were going on eBay for around 170-190, which should have been a good deal for people buying them judging from this being the hot deal months down the line.

If it was the 6gb version then I may have took it up...but as per usual UK get the bottom model

Bottom model is 3gb 64gb, so your comment isn't quite accurate

Does this play Netflix in HD? something to do with widevine L1 or L3 thing?
    Chris_R23's avatar
It's L1..meaning HD but seen that people say it's very glitchy..

the unisoc t616 in the doogee is not a very good chip..it doesnt look a terrible tablet by all means, but that chip is a let down

I received the pad 5 yesterday £289. Couldn't wait any longer to get something. Probably be a place mat in 18months
    Paul_S77's avatar
It's a good product. I'm sure it'll still be good in 18 months other than being out of security updates. Still be great for media consumption etc.

Good price for a decent spec tablet if you don't need to do anything too demanding ♨️
    CynicalNurse's avatar
If you need to do demanding stuff use a laptop. Obv you are not going to get video editing for £192. (edited)

Code only working for 5% off now, thanks to @Simon_GG for alerting me. Typical xiaomi, give with one hand, takeaway with the other

There may actually be some decent bargains in there with that code, so I will eat my words, for now

Good spot there! I'm wondering if there is a new version on the way, as I believe they have recently announced their new top end model, which usually means a refresh of the lineup...
  13. leeperry85's avatar
This brings the pad 5 down to £282 as well.

Can we use Mi points (guess only 100) on top of this?

Get referred by a friend for even cheaper

Shame my 20% birthday discount doesn't stake over it 😔
    Chris_R23's avatar
Birthday coupon is rubbish..any sort of discount on the product you can't use..so that's leaves sfa to use it on

Same, ideal for video quality using Netflix and YouTube.

the moment I see "Mediatek" processor in something, it's an immediate no. I've had too many devices which get obsoleted too quickly because of them.
    Neostar's avatar
That was back in the day, now MediaTek are top class processors especially Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 9200
  18. BluesFanUK's avatar
This for £192 or Lenovo M10 Plus for £150?
  19. Chris_R23's avatar
This code has now suddenly changed to 5% off over £50..I was going to see what happens after this current "sale" swaps over ..Xiaomi your getting worse
