It actually looks better than most I have had in greece lol, definitely functional rather than luxury but you only sleep in it.

Haven't been to Sidari myself for around 4 years, it's always been a bit of a shanty town but i have heard it's gone downhill a lot over the last few years, anyone been lately?

Yes I went last year. Big mistake. Any town where there is a significant number of establishments offering English Breakfasts and Sunday Lunches is a no go for me. There’s plenty of that in Blighty, so why do I want to eat the same stuff when I’m in Greece?

If you like islands, I suggest visiting Milos, Paros, and Naxos. These islands, in my opinion, are less touristy compared to say Mykonos and Santorini. (edited)

Went to Sidari in September a few years ago and the wasps just made it unbearable. No issues on any other Greek island but Corfu at that time of year is a no-go for me
