The short handled brushes in the Black Tulip Collection are designed for working on flat surfaces. Each lacquered Birchwood handled brush is individually wrapped and comes with a plastic cap to protect the bristles and hold their shape.

Shedding can be an issue with new, natural hair brushes as you break them in, but adding the finest synthetic blend to our brushes greatly diminishes the problem. In addition, each brush has a properly fastened nickel-plated (to prevent rusting) ferrule and is wet tested to reduce shedding.
