Octopus Energy has announced changes to its smart and export tariffs, claiming that it will see its customers paid four times more for the excess power they provide to the grid.
It means around 4,000 existing customers will receive 15p/kWh of electricity they export, up from the 4.1p/kWh that was offered through the 'Smart Export Guarantee' tariff.
