Need help with gpu lighting

Hi guys, trying to get my fan rgb's working on my 7900xtx aorus elite, they light up for a few seconds on boot up then go off when the fans stop.
Ive tried downloading gigabyte control centre with rgb fusion 2 and see a diagram of the gpu and can select each fan and control effects and colours but its not actually changing anything on the gpu, anyone else had this issue with a different aorus elite card and found a solution?
Vertically mounted it and was pointless if the rgb cant work.

    Go through the bios' settings, seems very likely they're actively being turned off by a setting.

    Ive figured it out now and found others with the same issue online with other aorus elite cards, maybe all gigabyte cards?
    Basically the rgbs only receive power when the fans receive power, you cant light rgbs alone so have to set the fans to always run on gpu then lights come on, however the minimum rpm you can set with fans always on is 1450 so will wear it out quicker i guess, seems a poor design choice (edited)
