Solicitor Question - Settling a secured loan (second charge)

I am in the process of settling a secured loan (second charge) that is registered on the property to consolidate it with our mortgage.

Our mortgage lender has advised that we need a solicitor to complete the transaction and update land registry.

First of all, does anyone know how much this typically costs and secondly, can anyone recommend any good solicitors?
