I've set amazon prime as an alert but I am getting all the deals you get for being on prime. Is there a better way to filter this. I just want to pay less than £95 a year.

Hi as discussed in the earlier thread comments, our alerts work by displaying content that exactly matches the text in the deal title or falls within a pre-defined group category.

The category alerts will notify you of any deals associated with that group or title match. For example, the 'Amazon Prime' category will also include any deals tagged with Amazon Prime:
    hotukdeals.com/tag…ime

Offers on Prime Membership are not very common, and when they are shared, the title descriptions can vary. Therefore, setting an alert using selected text from one deal title will not necessarily alert you to the next one. Here are some examples:

    https//ww…846
    hotukdeals.com/dis…126
    hotukdeals.com/dis…782

Additionally, information you might find useful on Prime membership discounts could be shared in discussions rather than deals or vouchers as shown above.

Hi, can you please try and amend your alert to '"oral b" or "toothbrush head"and check if that produces more accurate results - if you look at the deal titles on your search results, there isn't a specific match to your current alert 'oral b head' phrase in that 3 word sequence

You can also subscribe to one of the existing main group categories, e.g.
    hotukdeals.com/tag…l-b
    hotukdeals.com/tag…ush

    Hi, thanks for the reply, i'm a little confused though, for a couple of reasons;

First, i was under the impression that a saved alert would match on all the same deals that come up when i do a manual search for those same words... Do i have this wrong?

Second, in that second screenshot i sent, the first two matches have a title that contains "oral" and "b" and "head" in that order, so i would expect a match. I must admit, i didn't think the order mattered, but those examples do adhere to that order ik any case.

I have an alert set up for PS5 but it never seems to get triggered. I've had them for PS4 which is fine.
Any ideas why it's not working?
    Cheers

hi can you please take a screenshot and upload an image of your saved alert screen. And can you also please check your permissions and that you have the option to send alert notifications set to allowed.

If you set a 'categories' alert for PS5, then any items in that category will trigger an alert:
    hotukdeals.com/tag…ps5

If you set a 'keyword' alert for PS5, then only threads with 'PS5' specifically in title will trigger an alert, but it must be an exact match - so 'Playstation 5' in a title wouldn't send an alert for example.

Has anyone else’s deal alerts been deleted? Not sure if there’s been an app update, or something else happened?

Hi we've had no other recent reports of alerts being auto deleted, so could you please clear your hotukdeals app cache and then uninstall and reinstall the app and ensure you are on latest version.

If you are still having issues after reinstalling, can you please share your device make and model and which android / iOS version you have installed. A screenshot showing what is displayed on your app alert selections will also help with reporting this for review if required. Thank you
