Why isn't HUKD accessible?
I reported a deal because the description was just a wall of images with no text, which makes it completely unreadable to those who rely on assistive technologies.
Apparently this is perfectly fine because it didn't "break any roles"
In this day and age why does HUKD ignore basic accessibility requirements?
As far as know it's not even possible to add "alt text" to uploaded images which would go some way to helping this.
What are the plans and timescales to resolve this?
How do we lobby for such a rule to be added?
(I expect this thread will be deleted)

The title of deals and price field should include info as to what the deal is so you can understand what a deal is based on those and this is standard text. If the title of a deal isn't clear, we're happy to update titles.
If you have any specific requests we're happy to hear them and can pass them along to the product team.
Thanks (edited)
Adding some sort of dialogue box when people don't put text in the description warning them this wouldn't be accessible and getting them to confirm would be another.
Actually, you could do that for "short descriptions" to which night cut down on all the deals that just say things like "great price" (edited)
