Dear Rachel, We have been planning to go to NZ for ages, but I was putting off the amount of organisation involved. I saw your post, we agreed on a date a week before yours, and I have just finished booking it - thank you so, so much!
Brill work OP. Love New Zealand. The driving is easy and the views are amazing. Very easy going nation and this itin is excellent. The locals are friendly, food and wine is not bad too. Go go go
Hot hot hot Rach! Love our NZ don’t we! I’ve stayed in Kiwi holiday park in Te Anau, Queenstown top 10 holiday park and Christchurch top 10 too! Can’t fault any of them! And I’m not a shared bathroom kinda gal (lipstick)
I like this deal however a friend of mine is considering buying an STA around the world ticket which include New Zealand and several other countries for less than a grand
I dont sleep* when I am travelling; and as I needed to be back in the airport around 5am, I didnt think it was worth booking a room; I wouldnt have been able to sleep, so why waste the money. *Really, it just doesnt happen; I think the only time I have managed was on an overnight flight with Emirates, after I had already been travelling for around 30-36 hours. Due to snow, I missed a KLM connection out to China a few years back; next available flight (Air France), was the following afternoon, nearly 20 hours later; got a free hotel room for the night; did I sleep? Not a wink. Arrived in Nanning, after 2 1/2 days travel and found AF had lost my luggage, and I only had the clothes I was wearing. You try finding clothes to fit a 2 metre tall bloke in a city where the average height is under 160cm. I am hunkered down as far as my knees would bend without being too obvious.
