Dear Rachel, We have been planning to go to NZ for ages, but I was putting off the amount of organisation involved. I saw your post, we agreed on a date a week before yours, and I have just finished booking it - thank you so, so much!

Brill work OP. Love New Zealand. The driving is easy and the views are amazing. Very easy going nation and this itin is excellent. The locals are friendly, food and wine is not bad too. Go go go

Hot hot hot Rach! Love our NZ don’t we! I’ve stayed in Kiwi holiday park in Te Anau, Queenstown top 10 holiday park and Christchurch top 10 too! Can’t fault any of them! And I’m not a shared bathroom kinda gal (lipstick)

I like this deal however a friend of mine is considering buying an STA around the world ticket which include New Zealand and several other countries for less than a grand

I dont sleep* when I am travelling; and as I needed to be back in the airport around 5am, I didnt think it was worth booking a room; I wouldnt have been able to sleep, so why waste the money. *Really, it just doesnt happen; I think the only time I have managed was on an overnight flight with Emirates, after I had already been travelling for around 30-36 hours. Due to snow, I missed a KLM connection out to China a few years back; next available flight (Air France), was the following afternoon, nearly 20 hours later; got a free hotel room for the night; did I sleep? Not a wink. Arrived in Nanning, after 2 1/2 days travel and found AF had lost my luggage, and I only had the clothes I was wearing. You try finding clothes to fit a 2 metre tall bloke in a city where the average height is under 160cm. I am hunkered down as far as my knees would bend without being too obvious.

It's not legal in the Netherlands. It is decriminalised there.

Gone with Norwegian to a few places and always being very good for what you pay, sorted a couple of problems out no bother.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply you personally voted cold, I've just seen it happened far too much where people vote down based on a personal circumstances. IMO each person giving their own costs is not a fuller picture for anyone else other than them because they are so variable.

I voted it hot. Why do you assume because some people provide extended facts they voted it down? Should I preface "I vote this hot, it's an awesome deal however please also factor in [X,Y,Z]? Especially when the cost of entry is higher than the cost of the deal itself? I'm not suggesting people are stupid but what is wrong with having a fuller picture on costs?

? Who said im moaning? I am just laying out facts. Why are you so irked by this? What did I say that rattled your cage? By the way I upoted this deal because it is a hot deal.

Found 9th SepFound 9th Sep
Just found flights for our family with Air New Zealand to Los Angeles for May half term 2019 @ £245.00 per flight thought this was a really good deal.

No, everything was included. Hold luggage, seats, meals & great entertainment choice! Really really good!

On Air New Zeeland did you pay extra for luggage?

I booked this exact route via travel trolley for May half term this year, no problems at all, have to say Air New Zealand are fab, definitely my preferred airline! No problems with travel trolley, used them twice now, all good (y)

How much extra would it be to travel from Gatwick? Kindest regards

Don't need political messages on here - especially when they're false - and particularly from someone who doesn't contribute to HUKD, just takes from it.

Just had this email but when I went to get the deal its "no longer available". What a crock!!

'Make do'! Much nicer way to holiday. Presumably you knew this before you had kids?

I'm guessing this is term time only and no educational value. Clever kids will be fine, but others will never catch up. Who knows if will affect their life chances?

If Im getting a taxi in Prague, it had better be FAKEtaxi, preferably with LadyBug driving.

Shouldn't you be on some porn site rather than a community site trying to help people.

You can also earn 4.2% cashback through Topcashback :)

The Taxi in Prague Airport fares are different, the drivers are tried to rip you off. (Go to same place, but they charge whatever they wanted, you have to confirm the fares before you get in the taxi). If you haven’t been Prague before, the Taxi Driver will charge you £5 - £10 more than usual fares. They are crafty, be careful!!

London To Orlando Return flights £252 on Virgin Atlantic via Skyscanner

Various dates Available book via Skyscanner

Virgin have never sold flights for anything like this price in the summer holidays. In the past 4 years the lowest school holidays direct flight I've seen is in the £600s. If you want cheap you have to look at connecting flights.

See in picts date 10 Jan 2019 coming back 20 January 2019

What dates? We just came back from Orlando on United Airlines (never again!) but would like to visit again next year. I can't find anything cheaper than £900/person for August 2019.

there are some genuine deals though. we booked and got flights for last august, similar prices with virgin to Orlando. everything was included. just read the small stuff

Milan is amazing but you deffo need a few days. We stayed just outside the city towards one of the lakes but would certainly go back. People were lovely too

Great deal. Shame its with ryan air, flights will probably get cancelled .

I always book direct with the actual company, via credit card and never via an agent. Section 75 protection!

Milan. Nice place but you need more than a day there. Make sure you make your way back to the right airport after your stay. I ended up at the wrong one and had a mad taxi ride to get to the other before the gate closed. Cost me £150 but just made it in time.

I have no problem staying on the outskirts of town for a city break. I've done it myself a few times. I would want it to be in a better hotel than this though and it's far from ideal when you only have one day in Milan. I feel like a broken record on these deals but I'll keep saying it, they're a bad idea. Late arrival flight and early departure means you can't do anything on the 1st and 3rd days. The hotels they include are always poorly located and average at best. If you want to do a city break book your flights and hotel separately. It may cost a bit more but it will be worth it if you want to actually enjoy the break.

Obviously 2 people. 6 nights in Rome, Venice & Florence, train fares (brilliant 250kmph trains) and flights for £159pp is a steal.

We had our honeymoon in Venice in mid December 10 years ago, beautiful but cold weather, similar to the UK, chance of snow and rain. (Was also in Milan last year same time and it was icy and rainy). In Venice it floods for a few hours each day (see earlier post), hence you get good deals and it's quieter, some restaurants close for the winter but they have raised walkways everywhere, tbh it was my favourite trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Agree with other posts above though, 2 days isn't enough. 3 is long enough for a decent chance of seeing a lot. Just don't forget the wellies.

Off to Gdansk in January. Just need to buy my thermals and DM's. :/

I really fell in love with Gdansk. Thought the old town was something magical - especially the street that sold the amber - it was like something out of a Harry Potter film! So much history there. Sopot was worth a trip too. Poland is a bit different from the East to the West. The cities in the West have more of the pretty town center style Germanic influence and are very cute, like Wroclaw and Poznan. But Gdansk was just superb.

Hot from me. Poznan is only 1 1/2 hours by train to the medieval town of Torun. I visited a couple of months ago and it really is beautiful.

Good holiday, I will send my mother in law with an one way ticket.

A character building destination. From the markets where you can get spat on for free for not buying bits of Amber or taking a scoop of Olay cream from and industrial 200 litre barrel. The wonderful smog and the burning barrels of tar they use to light up the roadworks on the main roads. The wasteland which was once the Olympic stadium or the Grand prix circuit you see joggers and cyclists casually mingling with the occasional race car. Truly a city that never sleeps... Most folk daren't I think!

Iberia - THE worst airline I've flown with. Flew to Bogota with them from Madrid on an old 747. It was literally falling apart in side.

Flew to Toronto and from Boston in July ... the worst airline i have even been with. Appalling customer service from their contact centre, change of planes and seats we had booked together got separated ... upgraded to premium and you still get no extras on the plane, didnt event get back the £90 i had already paid for extra legroom seats even though they promised i would in Boston. Go with Norwegian if you want low cost ... avoid this business, i personally dont think that they will last on UK routes based upon this years disastrous launch in to the UK market and based upon my experience i hope they fail, they dont deserve to be in business.

They pulled out of BHX and I'm not sure I'd be confident of them being around next year. Anyone doing this should book cancellable hotels and book the first night/cpl of nights on a different booking to the rest of the nights so if you have to do a cancellation on the day, losses will be minimised.

Primera don't operate long haul from Birmingham any more. They are pulling out completely by 29 October.

We paid for flights with BA from Heathrow and are out of pocket for £850 each. Yes, Primera are rubbish.

What happens then? Or is it simply tough sh1t? Sorry to to hear that happened to you. I’d be sick 😪
