About this deal

Amazing price for a direct flight and with a very trusted travel agent. It may be possible to save a bit more with a bucket shop if you look but i would either book direct or with one of the big firms.

It's only £7.20 more (£405.33) to book those dates direct with Air India and if something goes wrong you can shout at the airline rather than Expedia.

Expedia will possibly be more reactive and reasonable than air India though!

What’s that picture? dupe of Taj Mahal?
    skgwho's avatar
It's tomb of an emperor Safdar Jung, in Delhi. Taj mahal is in agra so credit for not using it when plugging the deal Expedia

Air indias planes are currently the worst ive ever used. They are falling apart. Dont expect any tv screens to work, 50-50 chance your dinner tray will work also. Never again (until their new planes are ready)

And if you cancel and will want your money back, only way will be via your credit card issuer. AirIndia will lie that money was sent to your account.

AI is owned by TATA. They run Vistara quite well and are a good airline.
Give them some time to replicate.

Air India voted one of the worst airlines ever you couldn’t pay me to get on a flight with them

Ugh no thanks to Delhi. Far better places to visit in India like Kerala. The backwaters are a million times better than the Taj Mahal.

Mate of mines went on air India and apparently only 1 toilet was in working order
    Naqvi's avatar
And imagine the state of that toilet at the end of the flight.

Good price for direct flight, but the planes (even if new) are in terrible condition! Food is good though.

But the biggest issue is if something goes wrong, you are completely on your own without any help! CS doesn't exist. For that reason alone, I'd rather take indirect flight and avoid the hassle. You can get the same price + £50-100 for off peak dates.

Good price...but don't forget to factor in the Tourist Visa cost + navigating the visa website (take a look, you'd think they'd have sorted it out with all the IT folks in India).
    haosmc's avatar
I think you can apply for e-visa from 120 days before travel. (edited)
