That's only for day trippers, like cruises. If you stay overnight you don't pay

Shouldnt the price be like £30 due to the entrance fee?

    No. Already been discussed

Weird how a train to EM costs more than a plane ticket

Could almost say the same for the airport shuttle bus into Venice!

    Flights are to Treviso
  5. blahblahblah1234's avatar
    Treviso isn't Venice.
Venice is just one place you can travel on to from Treviso Airport.

From Treviso airport there is a bus/coach that takes you to Venice in 40 minutes or so. Same distance of any airport to the city centre

    Not quite true.

The bus from Marco Polo airport takes just 2o minutes.
The bus from Treviso airport takes 40 mins to an hour and is less frequent. It also costs more.

There are faster and more frequent options from Marco Polo using the Alilaguna water bus or water taxi across the lagoon. They'll take you right to the centre of Venice, instead of dropping you at Pie Roma from where you'll need to catch another boat or drag your luggage through the streets.

Don't forget £5 each day tourist tax

The new "Tourist Tax" is a trial for day trip visitors only
There's a separate "City Tax" applied per person and per night for overnight stays. This isn't new, and hasn't changed.
