About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Fresh ingredients recipe box from Morrisons (Cheaper than Hello Fresh & Gousto). Launched 13th September
How it Works
Our convenient recipe box subscription service is really easy to use. All you need to do is tell us how many meals you'd like to 'Eat Fresh' every week, and choose your recipes for two or four people. We'll then pack all the pre-portioned ingredients you need to cook a range of recipes - and deliver inspiring meal kits to your door as often as you ask us to.
The recipe boxes are designed to give you a more creative option in the kitchen if you're short on time but still want to eat well and cook from scratch - all the dishes available can be rustled up in just 30 minutes, from our Asian Style Hake Fishcakes and Sweet Chilli Chicken to our Aubergine Curry and Chipotle Beef Fajitas.
Price
2 Meal Box – 2 people @ £20 (£5 per serving, Gousto is £6.25)
3 Meal Box – 2 people @ £25 (£4.17 per serving, Hello Fresh & Gousto are £5)
4 Meal Box – 2 people @ £30 (£3.75 per serving, Hello Fresh & Gousto are £4.37)
Other bits
- Although it’s a flexible subscription model as most fresh recipe boxes are there’s an option to try a one-off three meal box for £25.
- Similar to Hello Fresh and Gousto nutritional information is available before purchase, you can choose vegetarian options only as well as allergy advice (unlike Hello Fresh).
Compared to takeaways, eating out or the hassle (+ cost & waste) of buying the ingredients yourself this seems like a decent deal to me.

sorted byBut they wouldn't tho would they.
Mr Morrison is dead. He opened the store in the late 1800’s. sorry to break the news to you. Hope you’re ok x
😜
I don’t need to be asked.
A free trial please Mr Morrison.
….haha...yer….or microwave it
Relative to the other similar options it's a hot deal, but it does really still seem expensive on a per-meal basis.
They look small portions as well.
I could do my self a nice roast dinner or curry for less per person and I know it fills me up.
Did anybody ask you to give an opinion?
Noting wrong with it.
Why should you care what someone wants to eat?
Sir Kenneth Morrison took over from his dad in 1952 and only died last year.
Ah okay, I only did a one off payment and cancelled and once I paid they then gave me the 3 recipes for that week, although it was tailored to my likes/dislikes
Shame no way to filter by gluten free, maybe they'll add that option later after they've added more recipes.
Tell us 2 atleast, in short,
Thanks
Good thing people like you don’t run this country 👌🏽
EDIT: Just looked at the recipes and they don't look great, better than Wiltshire Farm Foods but don't look like Gousto/ Hello Fresh quality. (edited)
Hello fresh do give you a choice (not a vast choice mind you), you have to choose each week, if you don't (if you don't have time etc( then they will give you the default option for that week, although that will also be tailored if you have in your settings that you don't like certain options) - with Hello fresh you have up until the day your payment goes out to make your selection. For me it was payment on a Wednesday and delivery on a Sunday, I had to make any changes no later than the Wednesday. You can usually change 2-3 weeks worth in advance so you are not having to go into the app/web site each week.
Not far off how cornflakes are really made.
Yawn.
It's no surprise. Cruelty from birth to death.
