Current best price £168 at Amazon. Had several in the clearance section at Tesco Extra Prescot (Merseyside) with an SEL of £152.15, but scanned at £135.

    This model is satellite, Humax do make models for terrestrial (aerial) tv though.

    The most 'up to date' terrestrial model is the FVP-5000T. If you're looking for a terrestrial receiver they all end with a T.

    No, only 500Gb. But you can plug an external HDD into the USB slot to extend the storage (we have a 2Tb attached).

    I'm using a Humax T2 which I purchased 2nd hand last year. It ceased production in 2014...
    Absolutely excellent though. Especially with all the mods you can do. Thus I have remote scheduling without opening up my home to the world web and ad skipping.
    So old not necessarily bad.

    Bought one of these to replace sky not looked back. I paid 132 from amazon warehouse early this year but it was brand new. This is a good price though.

    They are still the flagship device - however, Freesat recently announced a partnership with someone else to launch next gen devices next year, including support for 4k amongst other things. See freesat.co.uk/new…ox/

    Yeah definitely best to wait for them, very good chance that along with 4k streaming they could be compatible with the standard sky q lnb's so maybe have the option to record more than two channels at once.
