sorted byThis model is satellite, Humax do make models for terrestrial (aerial) tv though.
The most 'up to date' terrestrial model is the FVP-5000T. If you're looking for a terrestrial receiver they all end with a T.
No, only 500Gb. But you can plug an external HDD into the USB slot to extend the storage (we have a 2Tb attached).
The 1100s was launched at the end of 2015 (edited)
Absolutely excellent though. Especially with all the mods you can do. Thus I have remote scheduling without opening up my home to the world web and ad skipping.
So old not necessarily bad.
Hi Sorry to be thick but do you need a satellite dish for these or just an ordinary aerial
Cheers for the message - any idea of a terrestrial version model number - I'm not tec savvy
MANY THANKS for the help
They are still the flagship device - however, Freesat recently announced a partnership with someone else to launch next gen devices next year, including support for 4k amongst other things. See freesat.co.uk/new…ox/

Yes
Yeah definitely best to wait for them, very good chance that along with 4k streaming they could be compatible with the standard sky q lnb's so maybe have the option to record more than two channels at once.
Does that work for the 1tb version too
