I'm guessing about the future, but, in recent years, Tesco have sold 5l cooking oil (various brands) for £3.50 during the period of Ramadan. This year April 23rd to May 23rd. It has been a good time to stock up, for those who have ye olde Bosch injection pump in their vehicle(s).

My son who's studying maths (GCSE level) says that for 5 litres in Morrisons it would be more than £23, but I think that it's more than £10 and less than £13.

I obviously had to be more specific given that I'm the eldest, but he is 35 this year so I think he needs to start giving clearer answers.

In an XUD 19TE/Bosch pump it felt better than rapeseed or soy, with a slightly better pick up.

Sunflower is also better for winter as it freezes at 17C lower than rapeseed, so less need to cut with petrol.
