These are not as good as they used to be. They changed the materials

Yeah understand the reason they got rid of the plastic stems but the new ones just bend so easily.

I ordered two packs other day to make the delivery worth. These are now cardboard stick rather plastic for better environment. For anyone supicious of quality, I found these are as strong as before and very happy with it, definitely not floppy as some reviews on Amazon says.

Anyone ordering these has a complete disregard for the environment. No reason why these cannot be bought with the weekly shop.

I thought these were supposed to be banned from 2021?

Edit: Nevermind, I just read the description and realised they changed the material to paper, good for them! (edited)

They changed the materials for the better, and to the way they used to be made.
I've always bought paper stick cotton buds, but they were a niche product over the last 40 years, finally the main brands have switched. Too little too late though. The same for when they finally switch to biodegradable nappies.
Never liked Johnson's though, their history of animal experiments.

The last few Johnson buds I've had have been bendy stick ones. Very poor compared to before.
