Weren't these usually a pound on promotions before any lockdown ?
I've noticed lots more price increases in the past year, yet the media don't shout about that much.

Yes, but very rare to find them for a quid now. Cheapest price seems £1.25

£1.25 seems to be the standard offer price for these now (or even £1.50 in some shops). I believe they were only £1 at Tesco for a couple of weeks before Christmas in the last year at any of the major supermarkets

I was shocked when I saw them for sale at £3 at my local Morrisions superstore! 43905370-5jtfY.jpg

    Don't be.

They need to charge that price for a few days every now and then so that they can claim that they are on offer when they go back down to their normal price of between £1.25 to £1.50. All the retailers do it.

Was in my local co op earlier and they were on offer for £1.65 so even that's crept up from £1.50

Tried to get that at the local Tesco.

Every other flavour on offer at £1.50 except for the sizzling... £2.99 wtf.

ASDA pulled through selling them at £1.50

Also £3 at Iceland. Special offer is 2 for £4. Big whoop.

I wonder how many people are actually paying £3 for these things, when most don't like paying more than a £1 for them?
