Lovely crisps, but check the pack seam as mine was not sealed and the crisps a bit soft.

Think it a bit like roulette, eat 3 or 4 then you get a seriously hot one , but generally the hottest crisps for the price .

I’ve tried the volcanic vindaloo and the phaal from Morrison’s, both which were hot . I grow scotch bonnets to make a mean curry ,and buy the super hot sauces … so am semi acclimatised to heat , and still find these crisps hot . (edited)

You can buy all sorts of peppers as a powder, and simply add your own kick to what ever flavour crisps you want.
Keep in mind that these trinidad scorpion are 'only' around 300k on the scoville scale, and are not the hotter 'moruga' variant. To put that into perspective, your typical birds eye pepper that you buy in the supermarkets are around 100k.

So as you suggested they're not super hot and for many people who are used to eating them will have a pleasant warmth.
Others might find them too hot, but they're by no means not manageable to consume.

If you really want to have fun, you can buy fun pepper powders such as these carolina reapers that are around 2 million on the scoville scale.

These pre-ground bags at 10g each, are a costly £3. But you're only going to need a pinch to blow your mind. If you're serious about upgrading your heat level on your crisps this is the way to go. You're probably going to have enough for a good 10 family size big bags. But realistically you're probably not going to finish your first bag.

There is only one chilli that is called scorpion chilli and that is the moruga? Which is over a million scoville. Sorry if I'm wrong. No pepper that is called Trinidad scorpion at 300,000.
