You have to do a survey, they don't take the receipt anymore. You can enter the QR code you get from completing the survey on the app and use it on delivery orders (as well as pick-up) though

You don't need a receipt, just select NO and it will take you to this page, just enter any random dates and time etc. I'm not sure what the correct 4 digit code is but if you get it wrong 3 times it let's you do the survey anyway.


If anyone doesn't know already, all new accounts get a 20% off voucher and also if you have signed up with a Gmail account, then you can register a new account using the same email address but ending in googlemail instead of Gmail or vice versa.

The normal price for a fish burger is over £4! Totally not worth it. I would never even consider to buy it at full price. £1.99 for fish burger and fries is a fair price in my opinion.

I did this almost every single time since I preferred to pay by cash but didn't trust them to input my order correct. Not once did they cook my food and give it for free before I paid for it though.

I almost never pay the full price for McDonald's. If I have to, I make sure I open Student Beans and get a free McFlurry with my meal (edited)

I didnt have this offer when i first looked, but it has just popped up on my phone there now

no, I mean the scanning codes. I've just been ordering at the speaker for the past year or so and showing them the code, which most of the time leads to issues! Much easier now, thanks!

And thanks to @Spicy_Meatball for the no receipt hack, just put the wrong code in 3 times and it works!

You can use the survey code on the app. Just tap "More" at the bottom and "Scan Vouchers". You might need to select the option to enter manually and type the code in yourself

Once you have done that, the deal from the survey can be used on pick-up and delivery orders (edited)

Oh, my codes are definitely longer than that. Not sure what happened there. In the event you get a code longer than that (I think 12 characters), these can be used on the app

True, although the advantage of having these on the app is you can use them on delivery orders

I don't have the offer on my app but I do have a spend £20 get £5 off deal. So looks like I'm being a fatty today regardless

You can use them from the metro online without having a physical copy of the metro as they are online codes too.

Had it on one of my accounts as well as a 99p burger and the £5 off £20.
The other account I had a 50% off, 25% off and the £5 off £20.
