I'm with national trust, and it's so expensive for a family of 4. Most places are around £35

Hmm... same here... if it's just one barcode then it's either going to be abused miserably or they'll just renege on the offer. Either way, it's not great. (edited)

Reach is one of the largest publishers of local newspapers in the country, so should be legit.

This is the same code as express newspapers last week issued on mass if you bypassed the purchase and went online via a link that was being touted (legit I dont know...) They had 50k or so allegedly .. perhaps these people simply copied the barcode and are reissuing to get validated emails for marketing spam or maybe there were so many left the NT decided to share another way. Im cynical so Im going with the former hoping for the latter. We'll see when I turn up at an NT place with the kids .. (edited)

One time use, valid until September.

I don't think it's one time use. It's just a barcode which gets scanned for free entry to any applicable locations.

This is not a good company to give your details too.
Can someone just post a picture of the email with barcode.

They've done the same "same barcode for everyone" offer last year and they have done it again this year. Since they were fine with it last year , you can safely assume that they are aware and happy with people using the code multiple times. They would have learned their lesson last year otherwise. More people in means more fridge magnets and expensive coffees sold in their shops and cafes. They don't want to annoy their regular members that's why they advertise it as a single use only offer

Not sure if you know how barcodes work...

Explain how they work? We’ve all got the same barcode and it’s single use then won’t work? I don’t understand how someone can’t use it 100s of times so I genuinely need you to explain
