For everyone saying about the ice cream machines being broken, if you go to mcbroken.com you can see in advance if it's working or not

Seems to work fine , also correctly stated my local was not working in the one time I checked after I couldn’t order a McFlurry

I've been pondering this recently. Today's society is built around food. decades ago we didn't have such an abundance to so much food and less so of very calorie dense foods! this Frappe contains 227 EMPTY calories!

People aren't consuming just one desert a day, they easily doing this 3 times, which amounts to around 1000 calories a day on TOXINS. This isn't food that is giving to your health it's toxins that is taking away from your health so you need even more nutrition to fix the issue.

Another factor people don't even realise is not just the addiction part but how it alters the taste buds! You literally find fruit and vegetable disgusting after you are accustomed to highly palatable and over tasteful products. Trying to eat a healthy diet will be like eating cardboard for a month before you're taste buds adjust!

Food has become so cheap that like you said, at work place or at family gatherings or almost everywhere you have people giving out free cakes or deserts or god knows what that you have no idea what you putting inside your body!
It's so mind boggling the amount of artificial chemicals we are ingesting that the body has to deal with and not many people realise that corporations spend billions on figuring out how to make it as addictive as possible.

The truth is if you want to be part of society in todays world and interact with other members of society then you have almost no choice but to accept this lifestyle. I've literally stopped eating at my family gatherings because I control what I eat and don't deviate from it.

Did you know there's sugar in toothpaste?
this is one of the most popular toothpaste brans
    colgate.com/en-…ste
    It contains Sucralose
    and according to this site
    health.clevelandclinic.org/is-…ou/

"Some research suggests sucralose doesn't raise blood sugar and insulin levels in healthy people. But at least one study found that in people with obesity who didn't normally eat artificial sweeteners, sucralose could raise both blood sugar and insulin levels"
Most people are overweight and in a decade more than 50% will easily be overweight or obese.

WHAT HOPE DO WE HAVE IF THEY PUT THAT IN TOOTHPASTE!

This is a pandemic that will be as big as the smoking scandal. The government will step in when the NHS is crippled which probably will take 5 years from now. This is a societal problem. You have to have monk type discipline and some intelligence and lots of research to understand the issue and then LOTS OF PAIN to try to fix it yourself.
And just like any addiction, 99% of people won't be able to get of this drug without help

Great deal but I can imagine that week being a hot week in the UK and the McDonald’s employees say “the machine is broken” simply because the demand is too much for them to cope with
    SoCal's avatar
There is an interesting YouTube video that explains why McDonald’s machines are constantly broken.

Had one , wasn't amazing, like watery milk with ice chips at the bottom, sliver of strawberry flavour hit and miss and a dollop of cream. Prefer a banana milkshake.
  7. bman1979's avatar
You watch every machine in the UK will conveniently be broken during this promotion
  8. jco83's avatar
Every time I've wanted one of these they've been unavailable

Can't be bothered to clean it.

They've changed the recipe for the McFlurry.

It's runnier. Cheaper. Feels watered down / thinned out. Not as nice.

    Just me?
    deeperthought's avatar
Just that machine that day. Sounds like it had just been washed and you ate the remnants of that.
  12. andrewworrall1's avatar
Shame it isn't the superior Raspberry Ripple Iced Cooler - I can't stand anything strawberry
  13. GeeMan81's avatar
Machine already broken on todays weather. Probably be the same the whole promo

  16. andynicol's avatar
Frappe?? It's a strawberry milkshake with 1/2 cup full of ice.

    99p should be normal price.
  17. jungleboy123's avatar
Would have been good if they ran the promo today.. wouldnt mind walking out to get one of these in the 33c temps we are having today.

Had one of these before and it was pretty gross. Even if this was free I'd probably not bother
  20. deeperthought's avatar
Almost guaranteed not to be available.
  21. jordan691's avatar
Any idea in which McDonald’s the frappe machine is actually working?
  22. bluetang's avatar
I so love the Belgian Choc one. Glad it's not on offer or I'd be exceeding my 10 a day....
  23. MarkyMark82's avatar
Tried to get this several times today and it isn’t working for some reason…
  24. KASOOR66's avatar
Tried it yesterday. Was disgusting. Was nice n cold but tasteless.
  25. Giles84's avatar
    Yep, unavailable in app currently

    Can't beat a good frapp.
  27. supermann's avatar
Had one yesterday, thought it really needed more sugar.
  28. TECHSPEC's avatar
Been getting one daily. Technical problems one day meant put through till. For delay she gave me £1 back. Then card said 99p refunded. So they paid me £1 to take one.

Then noticed offer still available on app later in day, so got another (edited)
  29. Jealy's avatar
Anyone had one yet and can compare to a Starbucks frappe?
    Mightymoosie's avatar
Yes - my 8 year old daughter LOL! Said they were full of uncrushed ice, watery and not at all comparable to a frappuncino! (edited)
  30. ashi80's avatar
    Machine will be “broken”
  31. CalmerChameleon's avatar
Is it just me or does anyone else feel queazy just looking at that photo of the drink?!
    Joanna_K's avatar
Looks like their strawberry milkshake with cream on top.. but 3x the price
  32. jco83's avatar
It seems silly having this type of deal posted so long before the fact, it will all but be forgotten about surely
  33. SillySausages's avatar
If they say the machines are broken, put the order through anyway and demand something of equal/greater value.
    andrewworrall1's avatar
How can you put the order through if the app won't let you order as the item is marked as unavailable?

These app deals usually don't allow you to pay at a counter
  34. jules888's avatar
Anyone know deal for this Mon 21st please?
  35. shrek's avatar
These are lovely get one as a treat once a week, they started selling them couple of weeks back. Check you get straws last time they forgot to put one in with my order and its not first time they done this

Promotion ends in about 4 weeks, they're a limited time offer

I had one of these today, the caramel one, and wasn't a fan of these... even at 99p wouldnt get it again
  37. sdzak's avatar
Even in winter their machines are broken because either they are too lazy to clean or someone cleaned the machine with wrong cleaning cycle or the wrong cleaning cycle is being used which takes ages to finish so machine broken excuse if it will be hot it will be very hard to get or it will be mostly watery left on the counter
  38. blinko's avatar
    diabetes juice , no thanks

no justification for putting that much sugar
