People aren't consuming just one desert a day, they easily doing this 3 times, which amounts to around 1000 calories a day on TOXINS. This isn't food that is giving to your health it's toxins that is taking away from your health so you need even more nutrition to fix the issue.
Another factor people don't even realise is not just the addiction part but how it alters the taste buds! You literally find fruit and vegetable disgusting after you are accustomed to highly palatable and over tasteful products. Trying to eat a healthy diet will be like eating cardboard for a month before you're taste buds adjust!
Food has become so cheap that like you said, at work place or at family gatherings or almost everywhere you have people giving out free cakes or deserts or god knows what that you have no idea what you putting inside your body!
It's so mind boggling the amount of artificial chemicals we are ingesting that the body has to deal with and not many people realise that corporations spend billions on figuring out how to make it as addictive as possible.
The truth is if you want to be part of society in todays world and interact with other members of society then you have almost no choice but to accept this lifestyle. I've literally stopped eating at my family gatherings because I control what I eat and don't deviate from it.
Did you know there's sugar in toothpaste?
this is one of the most popular toothpaste brans
colgate.com/en-…ste
It contains Sucralose
and according to this site
health.clevelandclinic.org/is-…ou/
"Some research suggests sucralose doesn't raise blood sugar and insulin levels in healthy people. But at least one study found that in people with obesity who didn't normally eat artificial sweeteners, sucralose could raise both blood sugar and insulin levels"
Most people are overweight and in a decade more than 50% will easily be overweight or obese.
WHAT HOPE DO WE HAVE IF THEY PUT THAT IN TOOTHPASTE!
This is a pandemic that will be as big as the smoking scandal. The government will step in when the NHS is crippled which probably will take 5 years from now. This is a societal problem. You have to have monk type discipline and some intelligence and lots of research to understand the issue and then LOTS OF PAIN to try to fix it yourself.
And just like any addiction, 99% of people won't be able to get of this drug without help

Yes says on their website
It's runnier. Cheaper. Feels watered down / thinned out. Not as nice.
Just me?
99p should be normal price.
Then noticed offer still available on app later in day, so got another (edited)
These app deals usually don't allow you to pay at a counter
no justification for putting that much sugar
