Cracking deal on this AGM leisure battery. This is a Class A battery designed for all tasks including motor movers and going off grid.

You will need a caravan/Motorhome that supports AGM charging (around 2011-). Failing that look at the other post on a standard leisure battery.

Ring the store before you bother travelling. I went to the Bristol Cribbs store last week hoping to get this deal: no leisure batteries in stock. I called the other Bristol store, same story. Messaged their online chat and they couldn't give me any clue which stores (if any) did have stock.

What exactly is the difference between XV and XDC?

Numax's current XDC range appears to be have CCAs a fair bit lower, what's that about? Still NCC:A though. Presumably this one is end of line or vendor-specific?

XDC is built around AGM technology which is far superior whereas the XV is a traditional flooded acid battery.

What's AGM charging? I have a Renault traffic sport 2017 which was converted in 2019 not by me so don't know all spec stuff.

Check the specs on your charging unit - no doubt at that year it should support it. It needs to be charged at differing rates If you google AGM batteries it will explain the technology.

I use an old car battery for camping, bought a new one for the car on Amazon , fine for light use

That's like saying you enjoy flicking through pics of women in evening instead of having a real one

I've been trying to buy one of these. My local store has no stock, and no way of ordering. I was told they cannot see stock at other stores. All I could do is ring all stores.

Now I'm unsure whether just one of these is enough... or if I'm even going to stick with AGM. Should I just take it back or was this cheap that I should just hang on for now and sell it if I change my mind? Offer's over, so no buying another in case.
