Absolutely the worst food available anywhere in the UK. They seem to exist solely to make McDonald's look good. Also, why do they dip their hash-browns in a puddle before serving them? (edited)

Can’t be as bad as five guys. Terrible burger and massively overpriced. Burger fries and drink for almost £19

Just had one, was a different league to McDonald's,a proper piece of chicken in a toasted bun. Absolute bargain for £1.99

That's actually a fair comparison as well. McDonald's chicken sandwiches are terrible quality for the price they charge. Literally a 'boss man' chicken steak burger for £5 a meal.

The worst fast food I've ever had. Save yourself a fiver and get a Rustlers for £1 if you like naff burgers. Oh and the chicken strips were like overcooked cardboard. Don't know how this place is still in business in my area when there's a Mcdonalds and Nandos next door.

Breakfast meal deal has gone up from £.1.99 to £2.49 to £2.99 then £3.49 within the last 12 months. I appreciate that costs across the whole of retail has gone up because of whatever but a 75% increase is a bit excessive.

The cheap breakfast deal was almost certainly a loss leader to develop the brand in the UK.

    The price rise was inevitable.

Doesn't affect me but their chicken products are halal, for any Muslims who are interested.

Does anyone know if you can choose Timbits flavours? They gave me a random selection last time and some were a bit rank.

These are popping up all over the north. Never heard of them until 6 months ago. Majority seem to be in agreeance that it's naff though. What's with this fast food obsession in the UK, the government should really step up and take action. Theres 4 pizza and kebab shops side by side in my hometown and about 25 altogether just in the main town area. No wonder theres so many fatties. We are heading the way of the USA and it's no wonder the NHS is constantly knackered (not to mention underfunded). Give it 20 years and there could easily be no free healthcare in this country. What will the fatties do then when they need a triple heart bipass or gastric band. Because i know they won't want to pay £20k for one...

Rant over, I'm off to order a kebab for tea

Why do you want yet MORE nannying from this nanny state? People have to take responsibility for their own diet and health. As for the NHS being 'knackered' and 'underfunded', exactly how much more than the current £229bn (45% of our total government spending) do you want sunk into it, instead of other important areas where it wouldn't disappear into a black hole? It shouldn't require more than 25-30% of the spending budget to deliver an efficient service. 'Our NHS' may be the new religion, but it's an utter shambles and needs total reconstruction - sadly, there's no political will to do so, because the slightest hint of any change immediately brings out the 'Privatisation!!' scaremongerers from the left. I love Tim Hortons drinks (especially French Vanilla Latte) and like the doughnuts, but the food is always poor. Incredibly overpriced and badly made. To serve something that is worse quality than McDonald's yet cost twice as much is criminal.

They couldn't pay me to eat a burger at this place again - went in with the family to see what the fuss was about this new restaurant opening - ordered 4 burgers and waffle fries - took them about 20 minutes to "cook" - they tasted awful - as previous comments have said a rustlers microwave burger tastes better - a fairground food tastes 20 times better, McDonalds tastes 50 times better - please save your money - eat elsewhere.

I honestly don't know how this place keeps going. They opened one in Stockport, rammed the first weekend but always dead now as the food is horrific. Cold, greasy, hard bread, limp salad. Thought I'd give it one last go for the coffee and donuts on Friday, sent back both as the coffee was burnt and the donuts were stale. The only two other people in the shop were also making complaints. More fool me for giving them a second chance, it's vile!

A lot of people are missing the point of the place.

Tim Horton's is a coffee and doughnut place that does some hot food additionally. It's like complaining that Starbucks sandwiches are awful, it's...not the reason people go.

'Tim Hortons freshly prepared food & delicious brewed coffee'... Where's the caveat that says their food is allowed to be poor aside from doughnuts? I do have a brain, how could I have missed this, and how could you think it's acceptable?

I was stuck in Canada for over six months during the pandemic (no planes). I loved Tim Hortons. The food THERE was great, bit of difference depending on which one you went to, but in general it was good, and INCREDIBLY cheap over there. Sad to hear it's not the same standard or price here.

They are owned by YUM same company that owns pizza hut. I believe in the UK they are closing stores and opening new ones.
We have one opening this month in Mansfield (Nottinghamshire)
Yet you can see on twitter other branches are closing.
We already have an over saturated big brand restaurant presence in the area. We had a frankie and bennys close mid covid. They opened a nandos, Bella italia and chiquitos and already chiquitos has closed.
So they open a taco Bell, Tim Hortons and move the domino's to the location of the taco and tims.
I expect in a couple of years both taco Bell and Tim's will close.
