Anyone know why they're clearing it out? Are some of those venues closing down or something? Seems an odd thing to sell off merch that is likely to be in constant demand for years, don't see the Harry Potter thing going out of fashion anytime soon. Or is it? (edited)

No its odd, some was old stock, but really its not obvious why some stuff had only been in the tour a month or so others were from 2017... They basically chucked it out in the end..

Vicky got this lot for £75. they even did the leftover Kids robes that are £75 for 50p each

Do they accept card payments or cash is the only way?
    Stageshoot's avatar
    Author
Card or Cash, they have 5 till points so it moves fairly quickly, though people seem to be spending about £100 on average.

Nearly 2 days late for this. Was plastered all over social media. I'd be surprised if anything is left! But, it seems they keep getting stock?
    Kareem_Osman's avatar
As of an hour ago, pretty much full of stock apart from robes.
  6. 92enyawd's avatar
Do they have any of the Minalina interactive books from the Harry Potter Series?
    Kareem_Osman's avatar
No proper minilima stuff just notebooks

Be Interesting to see if thats the final offer or they do grab bags at the end to clear it all.

I just let eBay know what's coming.

Thank you so much for posting this deal. I went with my two kids today. Last week we went to potter world at warner and both wanted the robes... but at 75pounds it was just too much... got to buy 2 today at 5 pounds each.. granted size choice was limited but im so pleased. (edited)
    Stageshoot's avatar
    Author
Thank you.. So Glad you got them, they are so expensive at the Studio, just being able to take the kids and basically say get whatever you want is amazing.. thumbs up to WB for doing it this way for the fans rather than wholesaling the lot to shops.

Drawstring bags were free near closing time. Sis grabbed a load, were talking 50+ for her library students!

Great use of them, am sure they will love them.

Thanks again to the OP for this, wouldn't have had a clue about it. I managed to pick up some great stuff today that I would never have bought at ticket price!

You are welcome, good to see some people getting a bargain.

Another London only deal. Are there no Harry potter fans north of Watford?
    joanddan7's avatar
Yeah because everyone south of Watford is only 5 mins for London.

nottherners make me laugh. Then constantly moan about the southern bias. You want to try living in the south and not in London. Nothing every comes anywhere southern apart from London and for many of us that a ridiculous drive to get to London.

£500? what did you buy? (edited)

I’m guessing 10 for eBay, etc

  19. Layk123's avatar
Thanks for sharing! Is there anything left?
    Stageshoot's avatar
    Author
Yes when we left this evening they said they had another 10 pallets full to putout tomorrow
  20. t_m_k9's avatar
Wow, nice! I'm not in London otherwise would have reached.

What were your top purchases? Any nice minalima picks?
    Stageshoot's avatar

Nice Studio Robe Gryffindor for me and Slytherin for Husband £5 each from £75

Hogwarts Express Rucksacks £50 down to £5

Loads of the MinaLima Notebooks 2 fora quid that were £15+ in store

Mainly just being able to buy bags full of stuff I could never justify buying at full price for pennies :-)
  21. angelhaseyes's avatar
Gutted I'm not in London. 🔥
  22. Kareem_Osman's avatar
    Thanks OP. Enroute now!
    Kareem_Osman's avatar
Everything has been reduced. Jewelry is 50p
  23. Kareem_Osman's avatar
Plus 60 people in queue before it opens
    Qadir1980's avatar
    Thank you for the updates
  24. buyukustad's avatar
Thanks OP! Hogwarts Express Rucksacks are great! Such a bargain for £5!
  25. scott.donovan's avatar
Was worth the trip on the train, if you can be there within an hour I'd recommend going. Good quality and very cheap.
  26. herrbz's avatar
Do you reckon JK Rowling has ever visited the factories this tat is made in?
    Stageshoot's avatar
    Author
Why should she, merch is all licenced and run by Warner Brothers not JKR, all licenced out to producers the same as any other brand, Bioworld do the Jewellery, Pyramid and Paladone do the mugs etc.

Same quality and standard as primark stuff, at least buying here you are not paying the 500% Capitive Market tax they add at the Studio and Theme park (edited)
  27. deafleopard's avatar
Bought a fair bit of jewellery earlier at 50p each, not sure if I believe they were ever sold at prices stated though.
    Stageshoot's avatar
    Author
Oh they are, if you go to the Studio Tour you will see them all at full price and people pay it.

This was them all in the studio at full price a couple of months ago

    Studio Shop (edited)
  28. deafleopard's avatar
My abiding memory of taking the kids there was the sheer size of the gift shop, I've never seen anything like it.

I googled the official shopa a little earlier and they had similar type jewellery I saw table labelled as £30+ for about £10 to £15.

Still overpriced and a bargain today though. (edited)
  29. ashyt16turbo's avatar
Is it actually genuine? I mean why sell it off and not just keep it for the official shop?
    scott.donovan's avatar
Definitely genuine, it was done by Warner Bros staff from the covent garden site
  30. deafleopard's avatar
Just got home and have worked out what I paid versus the tag prices.

    I paid just under £130

    Tag prices £5,480

Surely this must be the hottest deal ever

Thanks OP, even though it did take over my leisurely day trip to London ... (edited)
    Stageshoot's avatar
    Author
So sorry for making your day harder, Heavy bags etc :-) but am sure it was worth it.

Think of my Mrs having to lug this lot to the car in Berners Street when the event closed...

Thanks for the post OP! Grabbed a few gifts. Does anyone know what was available on the first two days vs the last day.

Also, OP, how did you hear about this?

It was advertised in the Metro Newspaper (Not that I saw it)
and they gave leaflets out at Kings Cross on the 1st Sept..

There were some Wands from Cursed Child that went first day and Adult Robes and a few other bits
  33. zackariah's avatar
Don't suppose anyone got a robe in M or Large they don't want (edited)
    Stageshoot's avatar
    Author
Virtually all the Normal size Robes had gone by the time we got there on the 2nd day.. (Seems there were a fair few on the Friday people said)

Managed to get an XL for my fat self and a L for Vicky, but didnt see any Medium or Small at all.

So sorry Cant help with that.. There were loads and loads of Kids ones left at the end in XXXXS and XXXS they were letting them go at 50p.
