I'm fairly certain that'll be the one I returned to them unopened a couple weeks ago :) I dont think it was factory sealed (despite being marked as such) but the box was in pretty good nick.
Hi, thanks good to know I got the 5800x got it from Amazon euro I think £306 seems to work well I've got it paired up with my old 2060 gpu runs most things (y)
That is all you need for gaming, the 5800x. The 5950x is wasting of money if not used for productivity. I just went crazy as it was on the clearance plus 10%off but I love it. For the people worried about warranties, can see that my Currys clearance receipts do not mention any faults with these cpu's and therefore they are sold on clearance with proper warranties.
Hi, how does your 5800x compare to 5950?
Not sure but it is new sealed, only damaged box. I would not worry at all, if it works it works. Got a 5800x and 5950, they are brand new with minor damage to the box. Would have bought it the other day with the 20%off
My boy had it as a birthday present a few years back and he’s really enjoyed it. For the price it’s surprisingly a good quality toy.
Usual price is 20 quid, got this at Christmas
I don’t know what you mean by that?
That is like a Disney nasty. (cheeky)
Asda sell something similar though on their website is says out of stock I often see it in my local store google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.direct.asda.com/george/toys-character/kids-toys/action-figures-playsets/adventure-wheels-astrobot-action-figure/050732959,default,pd.html
They had a few with IPS screens too, but reviews say they are dim with dull colours. Frustrating!
Got this exact one for £284 and sent it back.
Out of stock
Doesn't really help now but my brother ordered the IdeaPad 5 new last year when they were released and they were able to be configured with an IPS panel. I guess if the refurbished models are all base/lower spec models then the TN panel was the default screen.
Unfortunately, the memory is soldered. So, cannot be upgraded or added.
Received one today via Royal Mail. Well packaged. Machine is like new as expected, but not in original box. Comes with original charger. I checked battery health, that was at 98.79% and battery cycles at 1 (y)
Yeah the promo code finished last night, I thought that was maybe why you were asking about it. I'd set the deal to expire based on that. Sorry you missed out, set your alerts and see what comes up (y)
FLASH20 code doesnt work now either (mad)
Went to order this, this morning and missed it :( Code expired for all? Any other sub £150 laptops out there, its literally just for web use to put my bets on, its too fiddly on tablet
Yup, this will be fine for that assuming your internet is unfiltered.
I have an HP Chromebook X360 12B with the N5030 processor and 4GB memory and it runs faultlessly. App support on Chromebook is excellent now with Android and Linux apps available. Performance is great, you can't compare a Windows laptop with a Chromebook as one is a lightweight OS designed for speed, the other is bloated but more fully rounded. If you want a powerful gaming experience, a Chromebook isn't for you. If all you want to do is browse the web, use office apps, watch YouTube content, do your accounts or mess around on Facebook, Chromebook has you more than covered. If you want some casual gaming, you have Android games and even Stadia support. You simply cannot compare a 4GB Intel N5030 Chromebook with a Windows machine, in the same way you wouldn't compare an iPhone with a Windows 2016 64GB Intel Xeon HP DL380 Proliant server. They do different things. Personally, I find every Chromebook I've ever owned a nippy experience with great battery life. I have a Windows desktop for gaming, and a Chromebook for everything else.
Have you owned a Chromebook?
What you quoted I didn't say. I'm quoting my experience. Your experience doesn't exist with the laptop, you're speaking from assumption rather than experience. The issue I have here is that you're predicting other people's experiences with this laptop and attempting to dissuade them from purchasing based on assumption. Everyone is entitled to their experience. Assumption is based on inconclusive facts. You don't have all the facts to make an accurate prediction. You're effectively guessing which is fine, I have used this daily and I don't find the issues you assume there to be. If you're confident of your prediction, I would ask you to buy this laptop and you can send it back within a 30-day period and you can give us a review based on f/(actual) experience. Otherwise I can't see us debating this any further is useful.
I am speaking from a point of pure facts and numbers. The specs are all out there. I am glad you are happy with yours but I wouldn't buy this for £100. "I own this so I am an expert and know better than you" is an invalid argument. I can read the spec sheet
Could you hack the vault of the casino in The Bellagio in Vegas using this?
I'm on the same ...£1:99 pm is amazingly good, but the printer is not the best, loads of connection problems if using WiFi,and ink is very very hit and miss from hp, shame really has the Idea is excellent has ink is hideously priced
I would not have a hp printer again, they got caught locking the firmware a few years back, so replacements cartridges could not be used, a pain in the @r5e
I would say THE worst printer EVER, total piece of (poo)
Good call on the Insta Ink option. Had HP printers that would never accept non genuine cartridges, or even remanufactured ones. £1.99 a month is a great deal.
If cartridges are a problem, I would imagine that the instant ink scheme would be a good option. We have a similar printer to this one (3634) and I have signed up with instant ink for just £1.99 a month for 50 pages and that is ideal for me. I used to spend ages trying to source cheap ink cartridges which would eventually go off etc, so £25 a year to have a new one sent out to me is actually pretty good I think
The HP app is a bit of a faff too tbh... Not the best model ever but for the price not bad.
Not only that, if you're not technical, there are IT people on the net who are selling codes to reset your printer ....... For the same price as this other 😳😳
There was a lot of school work to print off. But they're only young so I wanted to print loads of activities of for them. I'd hoped to print off 100s of pages. Found out I could have 15. I'm sure it's fine for many. Hence I voted it hot.
