- This was a great monitor two/three years ago and still is today. Slight shame that gaming panel technology has stagnated somewhat. We've got OLED gaming panels coming in! Only at the top end though. 💸 I'm sure we'll be feasting before long
- the code is not working for meAuthortry using vouchercodesuk and search for dell monitor, or use this code $5X7GH$KCXXLRW
- Cheaper and better rtings review rating, if you are happy with Lenovo > Dellhotukdeals.com/dea…804Same panel and only 1 HDMI (Dell has 2 + DP)m plus isn't height adjustable according to your link. So Dell may be better for some people
- This is ahead of the competition by miles. One thing I have started noticing very recently is the heat that it generates. Sometimes it starts to hurt my eyes after 8-9 hours of usage (edited)They’re very bright screens try turning it down a tad?
- PWM is a real deal breaker.
- I am really tempted but going to 1440p will push up my bugdet for the GPU to drive this kind of display lol. Any deal recommendations for FHD 24inch IPS 144hz pannels? There is it's younger brother which is FHD here:
hotukdeals.com/dea…258 - Any idea if it has speakers?Authorno speakers
- ive currently got a benq ex2510 is this a worthy upgrade?Authori think so, 165 Hz via displayport 2560 x 1440 and same at 144 Hz via hdmi
displayspecifications.com/en/…7c1 - Had this monitor for about a year now and its superb. Dell make the best monitors imo. For an IPS panel I don't have a lot of bleed or glow with mine either. Voted hoted even though I don't need to buy as I can highly recommend this at this price. That's the weird thing about light bleed. When i was looking for one there were loads of reviews saying tons of light bleed or IPS Glow and loads saying none.
Took a chance (600 quid chance haha) and bought 2.
What i realised was that if you take a photo of a black screen with a phone the light bleed/ips glow shows in a massive way but if you adjust the settings for the camera and set them for the room you are in (photography knowledge may be needed) you'll find that there is hardly any at all as that is what the human eye will see. Mobile phones grab as much light from anywhere they can when set on auto.
I now take any review that mentions light bleed with a massive fist of salt. - Got this last Xmas for my kids pc paired with a 3060ti. Can’t fault it, overall very happy with it. I believe it was the same price as well.
- I've got this monitor; bought for about the same money a year ago. Great picture and lots of controls. Used with Xbox sx @1440 120Hz with no issues at all. What do you do for sound when playing xbox?
- I'm using an old 27in 1080p and an even older 1080i for my PC. As I work from home permanently now, I think I'm going to treat my eyes and get two of these. I just need to find a good dual arm vesa mount now, to free up desk space. ThanksAuthorHey good choice, I have a mine both on arms which were originally holding up my 24" monitors. They were at a good height on my desk so i was not looking up or down at my monitors but more head on.
These new dells are great, but i will need to replace my monitor arms as the pole does not allow me to pull the monitors high enough to be directly eye level for me when seated (chair the lowest it can drop and that is comfortable). These dells have the mount slightly higher up then my old monitors)
My current Monitor stand is 40 cm up from the desk likely will need between 50 to 60 cm.
Just thought i would mention as if youre 6 foot and above you may need to factor this in for the height of the monitor stand (edited) - What's better, this Dell or th BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710R ?AuthorThis may help (the dell is better) rtings.com/mon….10
- That's not the same thing, it's a VA panel not IPS.
- Had this for 2 years , great monitor definitely recommend especially for gaming with a 30 series card 👌
- This or the LG 27GP850Same panel. Dell has better support if you're choosing between the two. Alternatively, you can also consider the Lenovo Y27Q-20 which also uses the same panel and is much cheaper.
- Purchased for £180 like new from Amazon warehouse, would suggest having a look during 2nd prime day!
Condition was absolutely perfect, not a monitor geek though so I only ran basic tests (edited)when did you purchase it? - "This Coupon code has already been redeemed."
One time use? It does look very specific and not a typical multi use one. Where's it from?Authortry using code from vouchercodesuk search dell monitor or try this code $5X7GH$KCXXLRW - Perfect for gaming, paid only £50 on Ebay for it. It had a power issue, easy fix.
- Great monitor, great price. Super pleased with it.
- Bought two of these a couple of months ago to replace my 6 year old BENQs.
I have no regrets at all. Well worth the money.
Tempted to even buy a couple more to replace the 60hz 24 inch monitors in the spare room.Authori replaced my pair of acer's so massive jump up. yes i am tempted but happy to let others get in this time round lol - would you guys go for this or the Samsung G7 Odyssey LC32G75TQSUXEN Refurbished for £320?AuthorI prefer the dell as its IPS and may have better viewing angles, but im sure the G7 has many positives too
- I've had this for nearly 2 years paired with a 3080 FE. Great monitor and even better if you can borrow a colour calibration tool (I think I used a Spyder 2 or 3 but with open source calibration software as it's not Win10/11 supported, you can pick them up cheap on eBay) (edited)That's why I had asked re the Lenovo on here. In the RTings review the Lenovo was almost perfect out the box. Why is a monitor not pre-calibrated?
rtings.com/mon….10 - I've gone for this ... also tcb has tracked within an hour of placing order at £16.42 .. saying pending and payable withn 9 weeks
- Mines arriving tomorrow even though it said Monday when I ordered it. Thanks for the dealAuthorYep I got mine earlier then they initially stated, lovely monitors!
- Bit the bullet on a 2nd one for new job after mulling it over all day. Can't grumble at that price.
- Is this worth £70 more than the Lenovo on here?
rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/dell-s2721dgf-vs-lenovo-legion-y27q-20/16485/8317?usage=3623&threshold=0.10 (edited)That Lenovo monitor looks good, not sure it's worth the extra £70 though. I've got this Dell monitor, solid for gaming, you'll be very happy with it. - How does this compare to the benq ex2780q deal that on at the moment?
- Anybody else having trouble redeeming the code? (edited)Authornope works for me, but you can use vouchercodes and get a code from them too, i just tried now and works fine.
- It's a shame the code doesn't seem to work on the G3223D
- Anyone know if this can be swivelled to use vertically? thanksYeah it can
- Got two of these and it's been great. Need some tuning out of the box and not really fit for HDR, but otherwise superb screens for the price. Also love the stand and the LED illumination at the back, Darth Vader style
- Wish I'd bought 2 of the huawei mateview gt 34" now
- Really good monitor if your into gaming tho, make sure you have a good GPU before even trying 1440p lol
- I have this monitor, you're paying for the refresh rate and adjustable mount. Everything else is bang average for a 27' monitor at or around this price range.Whats the next step up from this monitor?
- Is this 4K? Looking a new display for PS5 but 4KTVs all too large to fit in the space available...No 2K
- Using this currently. Not missed 4K at all. Handles everything that I connect to it and the added USB ports are useful as they provide additional power incase the device pulls too much from your device. Some color bleed but you forget about these when your in a game.
- Codes don’t normally catch me out but it looks like Dell is refusing to send me anything from the voucher codes…Authorhey try this $6SLWH9$NL$2QR
