    This honestly has made my day. New generation needs to experience these games. Though would’ve been better to see full remakes, if that’s asking too much then full PS2 classic ports to the PS5.

    Unfortunately with the current state of the PS2 emulator of the PS5 that is not going to happen 🙅‍♂️

    It's daft that you can't play PS2 games on the PS5 but the XSS/XSX can play almost every PS2 game at 4K@60Hz (1440p on XSS) with HD texture packs (where available) via XBSX2.

    All except Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty if not mistaken, which were released around 2007/2008 before trophies existed.

    Was hoping they would drop Rift Apart on Extra. Been holding off getting it the last week since it feels like a good time for it to drop onto the service.

    Although I have played the game, I was hoping for this too as it would be a good sign for GoW Ragnarok arriving at some point.

    Pretty disappointing. Glad I'm still on essentials. Just looking for "free" ps4 copies of the ps1 games I already own.

    This has nothing to do with the official monthly announcements. This is part of R&C 20th anniversary and only a portion of the Premium additions. (edited)

    I wish it was the PS2 versions of the first 3 games and Deadlock, then we probably would be able to play them natively instead of streaming.

    ps2 versions like jak and daxter would be better than ps3 streaming ideally.

    Swings and roundabouts I guess; having directly compared the PS3 Jak and Daxter with the PS2 version that was released for PS4, the PS3 version definitely looks better. But that's with both running on actual hardware, not streaming.

    Wish streaming on PS actually worked for me. My broadband isn’t superb but 20Mbs and every other device in the house turned off is still a stuttery mess that crashes out in minutes.

    Any chance of a proper sale price for Rifts Apart on digitial? Heard it's great but it's also, literally, the only game I've never found a cheap digital copy of! Cheapest I've seen is still £43, which feels steep after 2 years (and EVERYTHING else either dropping in price etc).

    Can't justify that and so haven't, but it's starting to feel a bit like they don't want my money tbh.

    To be honest, you could buy a cheap physical one somewhere if you looked around.

    Maybe black Friday might have better deals. As most of the deals on PSN seem to end on the 18th of November, so perhaps black Friday maybe better deals.
