Slightly misleading but in the product information it says

    • Product Type: - Gaming

I would hate anyone to buy this for Xmas and think they are getting a gaming PC.

It is an office / web browsing PC

Note also the CPU is a laptop / mobile CPU which tends to be less powerful than desktop CPUs due to less heat.

These all in one PCs tend to be a "laptop" (or at least laptop technology) strapped to the back of a screen.

Even though the CPU came out in 2019 I think this is a decent deal as long as people dont have high expectations of a powerful PC.

Below, some comments from a review of the CPU:

For the real world uses the i3-1005G1 can handle perfectly well the usual day-to-day computing chores and tasks like web browsing, text and spreadsheet document editing, video playback, and similar.

The built-in Intel UHD (G1) graphics of the Core i3-1005G1 is only a basic graphics solution suitable for only light games and potentially heavier games on low detail settings. (edited)

I've included this link in the OP and, of course, credited you. Thanks

If you go to the Medion web page they seem to do 4 or 5 all in one pc's, all with the same name but different specs. I suspect her review was of a different model to the one on sale at Aldi.

it's a basic pc for 2022, web browsing, home work/ office use Oka. I say it's about right price and good if you need all in one pc for light uses.

as people have said it not familiar pc and it can't be upgraded

    Isn't this the same PC?
    amazon.co.uk/MED…N5K

Edit: It is, same model MEDION AKOYA E23403 and it's £181 more dispatched and supplied by Amazon themselves (not some 3rd party scalper). I'd be interested if you could link me to a comparable spec brand new AIO PC with a 3 year warranty that comes anywhere near £300. (edited)

Seems great value for the likes of myself, especially with the three year warranty and don’t have the unfair expectation of wanting this to cope with resource-hungry games. The video review makes this an ideal unit for most users. Thanks OP!

    Decent warranty 🔥

Voted hot! Not outstanding but good enough for the price. I hate wires and I will never consider a tower PC. Saying this, I've used my AIO maybe 5 times in 5 years, I tend to use the laptop or the phone.

Really looking for something like this with a touchscreen, this looks good though

Why does one need 24" touch screen?
  9. twotone1954's avatar
Watched the review on YouTube the presenter says it comes with 256gig ssd and a 1tb additional storage yet no mention of it on medians web page

Not a big fan of Win 11 , can we downgrade to Win 10 in the PCs ?
    john_william's avatar
You can, nothing stopping you too. You can buy an external cd/dvd rom and with your win10 disc hard restore to win10

So a giant laptop with a separate keyboard and a mouse instead of a trackpad. Nice!

Probably 22 years ago now, I had a Medion laptop, during it's warranty period I had it in my possession then the customer service, I sent it back 4 times, CPU gone, VGA, gone mb gone, I remember it was so shait that it was melting in practice.
It was my first Medion, it was my last.
