This historic hotel was built by Vegas legend, Bugsy Siegel back in 1946 and it's seen countless celebrities walk through its doors in the last 60 years, as well as being the backdrop for the original Ocean's Eleven film and Viva Las Vegas. It has an amazing location right in the middle of The Strip and near the Caesars Forum Shops, with award-winning Flamingo Go Rooms. The GO Pool offers a 21+ lively pool party experience with its amazing 15-acre tropical pool paradise, which has whirlpools and four different swimming pools nestled among the lush, green foliage. Then there's the Wildlife Habitat, where the resort's eponymous flamingos hang out with turtles, swans and ducks. There's a choice of eight restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and Margaritaville Casino, featuring the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place. The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, five distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000-sq ft retail store. You can also eat outside by the pool or even enjoy a spot of gambling in the pool casino located at the GO Pool! At the Margaritaville Casino at the Flamingo, guests feel the energy of the Las Vegas strip while enjoying the laid-back vibe of the islands.

sorted byWith flights that was £950 Solo .
Vegas isn’t the same place anymore.
Weed everywhere,it stinks .
Prices for beers is over $12 a pint and over $20 a cocktail . Obviously if you gamble in nice casinos like the Cosmo or Resorts world you can get any drink comped .
Food also 40% more expensive than 3 years ago .
My Average breakfast was $25 with Tax and Tip . I don’t mind tipping as in the USA a lot .
But they are expecting 20-22.5% tip now .
Then don’t forget resort fees when checking out . Most hotels are hitting the $50 per night fee now . My resort world fee was around $500 .
It’s a very expensive holiday now .
I find Cruising far better value and the new super ships have great entertainment and casinos with top notch food .
It will be mobbed so decided it was a bad idea and went for the cruise option instead.
The virgin flights give you just over 2 hours. That's not a huge amount of leeway if the flight is delayed, there's a big queue at the at customs/security/both or if you or any of your group gets pulled aside for a detailed check.
The same goes with the Excalibur and Luxor. PH is decent enough, but I haven't tried the Linq.
If you've been to LV before and have a player's club card - like an MGM or Caesar's rewards card, then you might be better off checking online to see if you've got any comp room offers - and you don't have to be a high roller to get these offers - they tend to be available almost immediately. The room itself is 'free' and you just pay the resort fees (typically in the region of $40-45/night depending on hotel).
As an example, I'm am heading back in May for 5 nights and have comped my whole stay (between 2 hotels), so I'm just paying flights and resort fees. Total for flights and 5 nights accom was £493 (and I used a few Avois points to bring it down to just over £300).
As for the people saying how much prices have increased over the years - yes they have, but who honestly goes to LV expecting a cheap holiday?
You can still go to places like the Stage Door etc and get a beer for $1. Plus, it's Vegas - if you're doing it right, most of your drinks will be comped anyway whilst you're in a casino.
Food wise - you can eat as cheaply or as lavishly as you want, you just have to do a little research in advance to find the cheap eats.
As mentioned above, the smart money goes off-strip to gamble, eat and drink.
Never had an issue with the jet lag whilst out there. I'm usually too excited to let it hit me once I'm there Once I get home it's another story though! (edited)
Too expensive for 4 nights
play for free and get rewards. I played on this for a good 12 months before we went and got a few free breakfasts and a show free. Not alot for 12 months of play but i never felt the urge to pay for more credits. You can pay for extra credits if you want to get rewards quicker.
