Meet the GENIUS2UK - Similar to our G1100UK, just better. It's 30% smaller and delivers over 140% more power. It's the all-in-one charging solution - battery charger, battery maintainer, trickle charger, plus battery desulfator.
Do more with Genius - Designed for 6-volt and 12-volt sealed lead-acid automotive, marine, leisure, and deep-cycle batteries, including flooded, gel, AGM, EFB, SLA, VRLA and maintenance-free, plus lithium-ion (lifepo4) batteries.
Enjoy precision charging - An integrated thermal sensor detects the ambient temperature and alters the charge to eliminate over-charging in hot climates and under-charging in cold climates.
Charge flat batteries - Charges dead batteries as low as 1-volt. Or use the all-new Force Mode that allows you to take control and manually begin charging dead batteries down to zero volts.
Restore your battery - An advanced battery repair mode uses slow pulse reconditioner technology to detect battery sulfation and acid stratification to restore lost battery performance for stronger engine starts and extended battery life.
Beyond maintenance - It's not just a trickle charger, it's an advanced battery charger maintainer. A fully-automatic, worry-free battery charger for everyday use - 24/7 - with zero overcharge.
Compatible with all types of petrol and diesel vehicles - Charge and maintain cars, motorbikes, motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, lawnmowers, ATVs, quads, tractors, trucks, caravans, motorhomes, vans, boats, leisure vehicles and more.

Are these any good for a stop start battery (asking for a friend)?
    Winklexx's avatar
    Yes it is

Is there a size limit on this? Can it charge a 100ah battery?
    I'm assuming that it can
    finknottle's avatar
Yes, just very slowly. To give you some idea, I used an older Genius 1A model on a totally discharged 44Ah car battery the other week - took a couple of days to bring it up to 100%. Fine if you plan to leave it connected constantly, but if you want to use it more like an emergency charger you might be better off with something like the more powerful (and cheaper) Einhell linked in an earlier comment.

I have the NOCO genius 5. Battery went flat on my citroen C1. Aa came out and told me to get a new battery. Put it on my battery, using the recover and charge mode. One year later, battery is still going strong.

Awesome was the 5 worth it then.

Isn’t this better value? Double the amps, cheaper and decent brand:

Just received two Topdon 6000 for 130... Not sure why I did that

Any benefit other than speed of charging in choosing the 2 over the 5 or higher A?
    Winklexx's avatar
    Only the price.

Can you carry this in the boot with a charge in it?

NOCO Genius = AC mains to battery charger only.
NOCO Boost = Jump Starter (Stores charge for battery starting)

My g1100 just packed up. Decent for small batteries but wouldn't recommend for a bigger car battery.

Hey. Could someone recommend something similar for a mercedes sprinter van. Diesel.
Battery goes flat after a week sitting.
    Thanks

Locate and turn off/disconnect whatever is causing the parasitic drain on the battery, and/or replace battery if it’s actually knackered.

Failing that, if you want a trickle charger to leave on the whole time it’s sitting to keep the battery alive, this model will do the job fine (unless whatever’s draining it is above 2A, which seems unlikely.)

I have the 5a version I use every once in a while to top up my car battery as I don’t do many miles. Works a treat would recommend.

Hey. Thanks for all the responses. We're not sure what's draining it. Currently have a solar charger connected which does the trick when it's sunny. Deciding on this or another model. Thanks again.

The next time your car is in for a service, you could ask your mechanic if he has a heat sensor that he could use to check for the power drain (my mechanic carried out such a check (in the morning after my car has been parked up overnight), a few years back and in my case it, was my car's radio). Does this do trickle charge too?

Yes it also says it on the amazon product title

This or the halfords 4a for a £32?

I use for my motorcycle during winters. And it does have a motorbike winter mode.

Go to Lidl, their ultimate speed intelligent chargers are £13.99. Also better than the Halfords one.

Is this suitable for 7 seaters? Obviosuly they're larger than normal cars but its a 2 litre engine. could do with a portable jump starter kit so will buy if suitable tbh. thanks
    Mariussx's avatar
This is not the kit you want then. This is just a charger to keep the battery connected and charging in colder weather. The portable jumps starters can jump start a dead battery:

    amazon.co.uk/NOC…c=1

Brother has the same (but maybe different amps) and used it multiple times for his, neighbours car etc. Noco jumps starters are brilliant to leave in the boot at the airport parking if the battery looses charge over time.
