Use the speaker as a shelf by mounting it on the wall with SYMFONISK speaker bracket, sold separately.

SYMFONISK WiFi speaker allows you to stream music, radio and podcasts from your network and streaming services.

Supports all of the major music streaming subscription services.

Hang the speaker on KUNGSFORS rail or rack by using the SYMFONISK speaker hooks, sold separately.

This speaker has a rich and vibrant sound that fills the entire room and allows you to create the right atmosphere at home.

In case anyone looking at this doesn't know, the internals are identical to the play one

Not true. The speaker driver is inferior and there a two main motherboards inside, one of these is also inferior. There is a breakdown on YT. These will sound different next to an existing Play One.

But, if you dont have any Sonos, this is a great way to join the eco system! (edited)

If you order 1 delivery is £4. If you order 2 delivery is £15. So order individually

Ikea delivery is the biggest rip off of the 21st century.

Any good for front TV speakers?
    justjamming's avatar
Yes they are okay, but the lamps are more elegant imo

I had one of these, the Sonos One Gen 2 sound is far superior. I know there is a big difference in price but trust me it's worth it

I have both, acting as rears with an Arc and and a beam. They’re exactly the same. I actually use the symfonisk with the Arc in the living room now as they look nicer than the ones

Note that these are also pretty massive compared to the Sonos ones

Also order each speaker separately. If you order 2, the delivery cost is much higher. Only issue iv had is wifi connection cutting out

    A quite critical issue then

I use these for surround speakers with a Sonos sound bar. They are a great wireless option that don't break the bank.

    Which sound bar, the Beam?

Can these be paired with a Sonos one second gen?
    CatsWithThumbs's avatar
if you mean paired as in a stereo pair then no (you can only do this with identical units). But they will join the same sonos system so you can play the same on all, it will show up as any other sonos speaker

I see it’s collaboration with Sonos so they won’t have Bluetooth because Sonos is crap like that. This post is for the information of people who are not Sonos mad.

Just out of interest, on a non portable speaker such as this, why the need for Bluetooth? I always hated the need to keep the device eg phone in range of the speaker

Got 2 of these as surrounds to a Beam Gen 2, from what I saw online these hold up really well as surrounds against the Ones, because most of the heavy lifting the Beam 2 does.

No idea how they compare for just audio or on their own. I had no regrets saving some money...

I have these paired to a sonos beam 2 and they work great. Added the Sub gen 3 a few months back and it really gives the speakers more head room to work better. Other benefit of these is you can use them as a shelf (edited)

Can I put them under the sofa or no good
  12. deakinc1's avatar
Ideal for rear surrounds if using for music audio only would recommend paying the little extra for the ones or SL ones. An extra bonus if using these for surrounds can tap into them and add your own subwoofer makes a massive difference to movies. (edited)

They're fine for music, great if you want to add speakers to more rooms without breaking the bank.
The newer generation Sonos speakers might sound better but probably not costs nearly twice as much better.

I have these in the bedroom and older play:1's in the office and I'm happy with both.

Can these be used as PC speakers?
    justjamming's avatar
You can't really, but inelegant airplay apps can work, but have audio delay. No good for games or video.

Anyone found a universal stand for these yet that they recommend? :/
